It’s common for games like Arknights: Endfield to have difficult challenges for high-level players, as they encourage players to strengthen their characters. In Endfield, this challenging endgame content is called Umbral Monument. Unlike Genshin Impact’s Spiral Abyss, which becomes available through gameplay, Umbral Monument isn’t immediately accessible; it unlocks three weeks after the game launches. This guide will tell you exactly when Umbral Monument becomes available in Arknights: Endfield.
Umbral Monument Start Time In Arknights Endfield
The Umbral Monument event starts in Arknights: Endfield on February 12, 2026. It will begin with the “Those Forsaken by the Land” challenge series. Two weeks later, on February 26, 2026, the “Inorganic Construct” series will be added.
A special, limited-time event called Monumental Etching is coming to Umbral Monument. Here’s when it starts:
- Those Forsaken by the Land: February 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM server time
- Inorganic Construct: February 26, 2026, at 12:00 PM server time
Details are scarce, but Umbral Monument and Monumental Etching will probably work like Honkai: Star Rail‘s Conventional Memoir. This means it’s content you can always access, but Monumental Etching offers bonus rewards if you finish all the challenges within a set time. The first two Monumental Etching events will be available until the end of version 1.0, which is expected to be around March 9th to 12th, 2026.
Okay, so Umbral Monument is where it’s at for getting stuff like T-Creds, Mark of Perseverance, Advanced Cognitive Carriers, Arms INSP sets, and even Protohedrons. Plus, if you do the Monumental Etching, you can snag some Oroberyl too! Basically, you need to finish this challenge during the event if you want more chances to pull for those sweet Endfield banners. I’m definitely grinding it out!
Umbral Monument In Arknights Endfield
Umbral Monument is a challenging combat mode with two difficulty levels: Normal and Agony. You need to finish the Normal mode first to unlock the harder Agony mode.
In Normal mode, you’re allowed to use helpful items like Buck Capsules to heal. But in Agony mode, items aren’t allowed, meaning you’ll need to rely on dodging attacks or leveling up your characters to stay alive during battles.
Including durable characters like Ardelia, Ember, and Gilberta in Endfield will greatly improve your team’s survivability.
