Arthurian Co-Op Roguelike SWORN Enters Steam Early Access in February
SWORN offers dynamic battlefields that encourage creativity in gameplay, resembling intricate roguelike games. It’s marketed as a cooperative game but allows for solo play as well, where players assume the role of a Soulforged knight and interact with famous characters such as Merlin and Nimue. The game’s narrative revolves around uncovering a darkness that has enveloped Avalon. Furthermore, by pledging allegiance to the Fae Lords, players can learn about Fae folklore, amassing over 200 unique blessings in the process.
Coming up in February is another medieval game titled “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” from Warhorse Studios, a highly anticipated follow-up to Henry’s tale. Despite some controversy surrounding the introduction of LGBTQ themes in the upcoming sequel, there has been an exciting update for fans. Preview codes were distributed four weeks prior to the game’s release on February 4, 2025, allowing the developers plenty of time to address any potential issues before the complete launch.
