8. Hawks Kills Twice
The Heroes May Not Be As Virtuous As They Claim To Be

- Episode: 116
Initially, when readers meet Hawks during the Pro-Hero arc, it’s evident that he’s concealing something about himself. Quickly after his debut, Hawks is observed conversing with numerous League members, suggesting that he’s a covert operative who has secretly been working for them throughout the narrative.
In an astonishing display of loyalty, I find myself compelled to admit that Hawks’ actions spoke louder than words. He shattered expectations when he ruthlessly ended Twice’s life, viewing him as a danger that simply had to be eliminated. It’s not common for heroes to take lives, as it can tarnish their image severely. Yet, the fact that Hawks was willing to make such a drastic move left me utterly astonished.
7. Shigaraki Is Related To Nana Shimura
All Might Shares An Odd Relation To Shigaraki

- Episode: 49
Despite being a villain with formidable physical abilities due to his diverse Quirks, All For One has a knack for manipulating people emotionally through sharp words. This was evident during his intense battle against All Might, as he casually disclosed that Shigaraki is the grandson of Nana Shimura, All Might’s revered mentor.
As the narrative unfolded, it remained unknown to the audience who Nana truly was. However, when it became evident that Shigaraki had some connection to All Might, the tension escalated significantly. This encounter would also mark the initial revelation of Shigaraki’s heartrending past, shedding light on his transformation into a villain.
6. Kurogiri Was Aizawa’s Childhood Friend
After Some Intense Interrogation, Aizawa And Mic Learn The Horrifying Truth About Kurogiri

- Episode: 107
Initially, Kurogiri serves as a mysterious butler and combat ally to Shigaraki at the start of the narrative, later getting captured by the heroes. This capture offers them insights not just about Kurogiri himself, but also about the League of Villains in general. However, when Aizawa and Present Mic interrogate him, they uncover a shocking truth that leaves them deeply affected. It turns out that Kurogiri is none other than Oboro, a childhood friend to both Aizawa and Mic, who met an unfortunate demise during duty.
1 Way: In the story of “Vigilantes”, All For One recovered Oboro’s corpse and utilized it as a base for an innovative experiment on the Nomu. Not only was Oboro’s Cloud Quirk modified, but it led to the creation of a unique Warp Gate power. This unexpected revelation about Oboro left many readers surprised. Moreover, this development provided additional depth to Aizawa’s character, offering him some much-needed growth.
5. All For One Gave Shigaraki Decay
It’s Revealed That All For One Was Molding Shigaraki Into The Perfect Villain From The Very Beginning

- Chapter: 419
Following the tragic revelation of Shigaraki’s past, where he unintentionally killed his family using Decay, it seems this ability was dormant within him before its sudden manifestation. Given the series’ emphasis on characters burdened by unfair Quirks and the struggles they face when lacking support, it’s plausible that Shigaraki’s sudden display of power could be attributed to this dormancy.
Contrarily, it’s unveiled towards the end of the narrative that All For One surreptitiously bestowed Decay upon Shigaraki during a seemingly ordinary encounter when he escorted him home. This discovery shattered the strong bond between Shigaraki and his mentor, underscoring the immense wickedness hidden within AFO’s character.
4. Aoyama Is A Traitor
Aoyama Had Been Acting As All For One’s Mole Since The Very Beginning

- Episode: 141
It was odd how the villains seemed to always know the exact locations of Midoriya and his classmates whenever they went for a new exam or test. Although none of the students wanted to acknowledge it, they eventually began to suspect that someone might be secretly tracking them from within their group. While there had been subtle clues scattered throughout, the revelation that Aoyama was the traitor caught many fans off guard.
It appears that Aoyama was born without a Quirk initially, but in order for him to become a hero, his parents chose to seek All For One’s help. All For One then bestowed Aoyama with his Quirk, using it as leverage to control the family. This is why Aoyama struggled so much to control his Quirk, as he didn’t develop it naturally but received it artificially.
3. Dabi Is Endeavor’s Son
After Being Ignored By His Father, Toya Took On The Persona Of A Villain

- Episode: 124
Amongst the League of Villains members, Dabi tends to be more reserved and less vocal, usually staying in the background during strategic discussions. However, as the narrative progresses, he increasingly displays signs of agitation, particularly when Endeavor is present.
Apart from Dabi publicly disclosing Endeavor’s real name, there was scant evidence suggesting that Dabi was related to Endeavor, making the so-called ‘Dabi Dance’ an astonishingly shocking event. In this moment, not only does Dabi unveil his true lineage, but he also uncovers the wrongdoings of his father, leading the people of Japan to question and lose faith in heroes as a whole.
2. Bakugo’s Death
Killing Off One Of The Series’ Most Beloved Characters Was Not On Anyone’s Bingo Card

- Episode: 149
In any anime show, eliminating a beloved character can be daring, but when the character is as adored as Bakugo, it’s not surprising that so many fans reacted emotionally when he was unexpectedly killed by Shigaraki during the climactic battle. Even with his Quirk awakened and his new Armor gear deployed in this confrontation, Bakugo couldn’t match Shigaraki’s speed and power, ultimately leading to his tragic end.
Without a doubt, Edgeshot revived Bakugo shortly after his demise, but it’s clear that the surprise twist left everyone astonished. As part of the main trio, nobody anticipated that Bakugo would meet such an end, but it served as a powerful demonstration of Shigaraki’s immense strength at that moment in the storyline.
1. Midoriya Awakens The Vestige’s Quirks
It Turns Out One For All Contains An Arsenal Of Quirks For Midoriya To Utilize

- Episode: 98
In essence, the Joint Training arc involving Class 1-A and 1-B mostly appears as a routine drill. However, towards the end of this arc, an unusual incident occurs with Midoriya. Suddenly, his hands begin to emit long, dark whips. A mysterious individual named Banjo then appears on the scene, who confides in Midoriya that Blackwhip is merely one of several new Quirks he’ll acquire, all once belonging to previous wielders of One For All.
Initially, nobody anticipated this surprising turn of events, and some even worried it might excessively augment Midoriya’s power due to the abundance of Quirks he possessed. However, luckily for us, Midoriya acquires these additional skills slowly, though without them, he wouldn’t have been able to withstand formidable foes like Nagant and Shigaraki during his journey. These abilities prove crucial in his adventure.
