This second quest in the Aladdin Realm brings players closer to unlocking characters like Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Magic Carpet.

But fret not, all the action takes place within the South Market, so if you’re keen to move on to the next chapter of this thrilling tale, it shouldn’t take long to locate those essential stall repair supplies. Keep your eyes peeled and you’ll be storm-ready in no time!

How To Start Brave The Storm Quest In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you successfully finish the initial quest titled “The Ancient Revealed” within the enchanting Aladdin Realm, the adventure “Brave the Storm” becomes accessible to you. Following your heartwarming reunion of Jasmine and Aladdin, this exciting journey begins with you aiding Aladdin in sourcing materials for rebuilding the beloved South Market. To initiate the quest, simply seek out Aladdin after completing “The Ancient Revealed.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Brave The Storm Quest Steps

Initiating ‘Brave the Storm’, the initial move involves conversing with Aladdin, positioned close to the building’s edge. Now is the moment to gather some necessary construction supplies, which will be used to create pathways that facilitate your journey towards the South Market.

Scavenge Building Materials From The South-East Rooftops

Luckily, all the essentials for getting to the South Market are conveniently located close by. Utilize your trusty Royal Pickaxe to shatter the surrounding Sandstone Rocks and shift the massive wooden barrel to uncover and gather these necessary construction materials.

  • Pile of Planks – Behind the Sandstone Rocks opposite Jasmine.
  • Fine Rope – Behind the two Sandstone Rocks next to Jasmine.
  • Timber Stack – At the corner of the rooftop behind the wooden barrel and Sandstone Rocks.

After gathering the mentioned items, arrange these three objects on the roof’s ledge, right in front of Aladdin, to create a bridge by manipulating the ledge itself. Now, you can traverse this bridge alongside Aladdin to reach the opposite side. Over there, interact with Aladdin twice: first, when he is standing before the Sandstone Rocks and secondly, after destroying those rocks.

Find A Way Down To The South Market Using What You’ve Learned

To get to South Market, first find the Wooden Plank, Fine Rope, and Timber Stack hidden behind the Sandstone Rocks in the distance. Then, interact with the left edge of the roof to create a bridge by placing the plank you’ve collected. As you approach the bridge, don’t forget to pick up a Pile of Planks and another Fine Rope located near where Aladdin stands, just around the corner.

Traverse your homemade wooden bridge and seize the Timber Stack and the Pile of Planks lying further ahead. Engage with the ledge situated on the right side, then utilize the materials you’ve gathered to create a new wooden construction, enabling you to cross it, by assembling:

  • One Fine Rope
  • One Timber Stack
  • One Pile of Planks

Traverse the constructed pathway again using similar resources to build another temporary bridge for crossing. After that, proceed left, utilize your Pickaxe on the wooden structure to your left, which will create a ramp leading you towards the South Market. On your right, there’s another Timber Stack to gather. Go down the wooden slope into the South Market to chat with Aladdin once more. Since there are numerous materials scattered along the way, the following video demonstrates how to locate and utilize all the necessary items to reach the South Market:

Use The Rose Water And Search The Wreckage For Stall Repairs

In ‘Brave the Storm,’ Aladdin asks you to assist him in fixing the market stalls damaged by the storm. He provides you with some useful item called Rose Water which can be used to eliminate the foul odor of spoiled fruits. To begin, please employ the Rose Water from your inventory. Subsequently, explore the Southern Market in search of the required items for stall repair: stall repair supplies.

  • x3 Something sticky – Use your Royal Watering Can on what is known as Sticky Fouled Fruit Sugars found in piles around the South Market (near the steps, in the small alley behind the two Dust Devils, and near the wooden plank walkway you made opposite the crafting table).
  • x3 Fine Rope – In the small alley near the Dust Devils, in the second alley opposite the crafting table, and tucked in the corner by the steps.
  • x3 Timber Stack – In the corner at the bottom of the plank walkway you made and in the second alley opposite the crafting table.
  • x3 Bolts of Silk – Found in the small alley behind the Dust Devils, the second alley opposite the crafting table, and by the dust devil near the steps.

As I scour the game world for necessary stall repairs, beware of those wandering Dust Devils! A collision with them will instantly transport me back to my previous safe location.

Craft The Stall Repair Kits And Repair The Stalls

After collecting all the necessary items, head back to Aladdin in the South Market for another chat. Now it’s time to create three Stall Repair Kits. You can find the crafting table where you can do this in the South Market; it’s easily identifiable by its distinctive purple cloth.

You can see the Stall Repair Kits in the Crafting Recipes menu under the Functional Items tab.

You have the opportunity now to utilize the Stall Repair Kits to mend the three stalls located around South Market, easily identifiable as groups of damaged stall remnants in the same area. Simply approach and engage with each stall to initiate its repair, earning you a sack of Market Resources for every repaired stall. Once all three stalls have been fixed, interact with Aladdin in South Market to conclude the ‘Brave the Storm’ quest and start the subsequent Aladdin TadsasdRealm quest called ‘Monkey Business,’ where you encounter some playful monkeys who seem particularly fond of shiny objects.
