This guide will walk you through the boss battles and provide handy strategies for coming out victorious with minimal fuss.
All Bosses & How To Beat Them
Following your victory over the introductory boss, you’ll encounter three distinct elemental bosses to wrap up the game and initiate the conclusion. Notably, these bosses share the same set of attacks, sparing players the hassle of learning new strategies. The trio of adversaries are as follows:
- Wind Boss
- Fire Boss
- Lightning Boss
In this game, since the main character is unbeatable, the villain opts to demolish the city instead. A meter on the upper right corner indicates the city’s remaining durability, and when it hits zero, the player must restart the battle. During the fight, the boss attempts to elude you by flying away and launching attacks on buildings with projectiles. These attacks persist for a while before vanishing. To stun the boss, aim to use your long-range abilities; once stunned, fly in and unleash your close combat skills.
Obtaining the Superspeed capacity is possible near the northwestern power transformer on your map. This grants you extraordinary running speed, however, it’s not very beneficial during air combat situations.
Sometimes, the manager amasses power and launches a large object towards the earth. If you’re near the boss, you’ll notice a warning sign indicating you need to act quickly to avoid catastrophic destruction in the city.
Instead of fixating only on the boss, consider spreading your attention as well to the city’s countdown, since it might decrease rapidly at any moment, potentially leading to the failure of our battle efforts.
When the counter drops below 50%, it’s safe to deactivate lock-on and launch ranged attacks on the fires or lightning in your build. For each fire you extinguish, the city will heal by 10%. Be cautious not to stay too far from the boss for extended periods, as it has an attack where it emits a beam towards the ground, gradually damaging the city. It’s essential to disrupt the boss during this animation.
Using Heat Vision To Cheese Boss Fights
Following your triumph over the Fire Boss, there’s a cinematic scene where a meteorite hits the ground. Heading towards the southwest part of the map gives you the chance to interact with this meteorite and acquire the Heat Vision ability in UNDEFEATED. This new skill lasts for 5 seconds before needing a recharge, and it simplifies taking down bosses significantly. From a distance, staggering the boss is more manageable, and then you can follow up with a close-quarter combo to deplete a chunk of the boss’s health.
Once the match concludes, you’ll have another chance to tackle the boss battles. Now, with the acquired Heat Vision skill at your disposal, these encounters should prove less challenging.
