Universal Studios Hollywood is taking theme park immersion to new heights with the introduction of Universal Fan Fest Nights, an exclusive evening event merging fandom, cuisine, and magic in a truly remarkable way. Starting on Friday, April 25th, and continuing on select nights until May 18th, 2025, Fan Fest Nights offers visitors the chance to delve deeper into their passions, beyond the usual Universal attractions and performances, through a specially designed dining adventure that encompasses seven cherished universes.

Chef Julia Thrash has cleverly created a stunning menu for the event, taking inspiration straight from the narratives and personalities of each franchise shown during Fan Fest Nights. Whether we journey through space with Star Trek, battle dragons in Dungeons & Dragons, or boost our powers in Super Nintendo World, guests will encounter themed meals and beverages that enhance the experience.

Star Trek: Red Alert infuses a cosmic vibe into Quark’s Café at Hollywood & Dine, featuring dishes like Klingon Targ Legs and Tribble Truffle Trio that blend whimsical names with innovative culinary spins. At the neighboring 10 Forward Bar, attendees of the Universal after-hours event can enjoy Romulan Ale or the sparkling Orion Hurricane, each drink tailored to whisk them away to the Starship Enterprise. Simultaneously, Back to the Future: Destination Hill Valley converts Mel’s Diner into a sentimental journey through time, offering menu items such as the Flux Capacitor Patty Melt and the fiery Outatime Cookie. The Time Traveler’s Malt Shake promises a taste of the past.

At the Dungeons & Dragons: Secrets of Waterdeep event, visitors can dine at The First Roll Tavern located in Jurassic Cove. Delicious fantasy-inspired dishes such as the Beholder’s Brew Fondue and the stunning Gelatinous Cube dessert create an immersive atmosphere. Moreover, enchanted cocktails like Eldritch Blast and Charm Person provide a powerful conclusion. One Piece: Grand Pirate Gathering sets sail for Cocina Mexicana with offerings such as Luffy’s Meat on a Bone and Devil Fruit Concha, while Nami’s Tangerine Breeze and Thousand Sunny Donut (available at Voodoo Doughnut too) add sweetness to the pirate adventure. This year’s Jujutsu Kaisen debut at Fan Fest offers ominously indulgent treats like Sukuna Cursed Crunch and Nobara’s Strawberry Hammer Smash, which are themed after a re-designed DreamWorks cart. These dishes are perfect for those who love cursed energy.

At the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Three Broomsticks has unveiled an enticing menu filled with spells of deliciousness. It boasts Hogwarts house-themed Cornish Pasties, Sunday Roasts, and a Golden Snitch dessert that’s pure enchantment. The Magic Neep Cart and Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream serve up irresistible churros and soft-serve treats inspired by the Hogwarts Houses and magical creatures.

Over at Super Nintendo World, Toadstool Cafe is joining in the fun with two unique Yoshi-themed dishes: Yoshi’s Fettuccini Alfredo and Yoshi’s Smoothie, brimming with vibrant flavors and whimsical presentations.

To make this magical experience even more accessible, Universal Studios has introduced the Fan Fest Nights Dining Pass. This pass allows guests to savor a selection of two entrées, four sides, snacks, desserts, or beverages at participating locations. Look out for items marked with a special logo and you can purchase the pass at kiosks and select restaurants.
