Universal Orlando Resort has given us a sneak peek at the Helios Grand Hotel, set to open along with Epic Universe next summer. This new hotel boasts an innovative design, making it the first Universal hotel where guests can walk directly into the parks. The Helios Grand Hotel is strategically located within Epic Universe, ensuring a smooth transition between resort and theme park for a truly integrated experience.

The upcoming Universal Universe will mark the third park within the Universal Orlando Resort, showcasing some of Universal’s legendary franchises such as Super Nintendo World, Universal Monsters’ Dark Universe, How To Train Your Dragon, and Harry Potter. Each zone promises a fully immersive experience with numerous attractions and activities for visitors to explore. Moreover, this new park will introduce an innovative concept called Celestial Park that takes guests on a journey through the cosmos. Celestial Park won’t disappoint, featuring several attractions including the Stardust Racers roller coaster, shopping center, and dining location. The pièce de résistance, however, is the majestic Universal Helios Grand Hotel towering above all else.

Today, Discover Universal Blog unveiled sneak peeks of their latest Mediterranean-inspired hotel, named after Helios, the Greek sun god. This upcoming hotel will be nestled within Celestial Park, providing breathtaking views over its gardens. The hotel’s design boasts intricate celestial motifs and constellations adorning its walls and ceilings.

1. The Helios Grand Hotel, set to be the 11th accommodation on Universal Orlando’s property, will debut alongside the Stella Nova and Terra Luna Resorts, slated for opening next year. With 500 rooms, 35 suites, and a unique blend of immersion and relaxation, this hotel promises an unparalleled stay experience. Moreover, it will be the first Universal Orlando hotel where guests can step directly into a park from their lodgings. Guests will find themselves just steps away from the new Stardust Racers roller coaster in Celestial Park and the hotel pool, as well as the Lotus Lounge bar. The official opening date for Epic Universe and the Helios Grand Hotel has yet to be announced, but a summer 2025 date is expected.
