If you missed it, don’t worry! It’s coming back again from Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM PDT to Sunday, June 1, 2025, at 4:59 PM PDT. To join the fun, keep an eye out for Black Tera Crystals scattered across your map. When you find one that triggers a Garchomp battle, jump right in and show ’em who’s boss!
In each of your game saves, there’s a singular instance of the rare Garchomp that can only be caught once. If you’ve already nabbed it during a past Tera Raid Battle event, I’m sorry to say you won’t get another chance. Yet, feel free to participate in future Tera Raid Battles with this Garchomp for additional rewards, as long as it’s not part of your current collection anymore.
How to Unlock Black Crystal Tera Raids
To find Tera Crystals in the game, players must fulfill certain conditions first. Initially, they need to complete the main story of Scarlet and Violet, as well as the Academy Ace Tournament. Once these tasks are accomplished, you can engage in 5-Star Tera Raids. After spending some time farming in these raids, players will unlock higher level Tera Raids (6 and 7-Star), which will cause Black Tera Crystals to appear on the map.
