Fans of the game series Borderlands have an opportunity to acquire some free items, as a fresh SHiFT code has been made available. This code can be used to obtain three Golden Keys in almost all the games developed by Gearbox for the Borderlands franchise.
As the Borderlands series is still fresh with recent releases, SHiFT codes are abundant. With Gearbox Games gearing up for the release of Borderlands 4, due out in September, this presents a perfect opportunity for fans to re-explore older games and update their weapon collection simultaneously.
Randy Pitchford, the CEO of Gearbox Software, has given fans a fresh SHiFT code: S6X33-K5CF3-JJBJB-JTTBJ-6CZB3. This SHiFT code grants access to three golden keys in many of Gearbox’s Borderlands series, including Borderlands, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. After inputting the code on the official Gearbox website, players can start any of these games to collect the keys. These keys can be utilized to open Golden chests in Fyrestone, Sanctuary, Concordia, or Brighthoof, depending on the game being played. The quality of the loot obtained from these chests is randomly generated, but the maximum quality varies across different games.
Borderlands 4 is Now On the Approach
It’s been approximately six years since Borderlands 3 was released, and enthusiasts of the raunchy-humored looter shooter series are eagerly awaiting a fresh installment. The upcoming Borderlands 4 is set to introduce new vault hunters for players to control, but it’s also planning some significant changes to the series’ established elements. Instead of returning to familiar locales, Borderlands 4 will transport gamers to a brand-new planet, Kairos, offering plenty of opportunities for exploration. Moreover, with its adoption of Unreal Engine 5, players can expect visually stunning landscapes in this upcoming title.
Nevertheless, there have been modifications that have sparked some worry among fans. In the case of Borderlands 4, the drop rates are being revised, a decision made by the game’s creative director, who believes these adjustments will make the search for loot more rewarding than ever before. The latest State of Play has left fans puzzled about the UI of Borderlands 4, with some expressing disappointment, claiming it appears less vibrant compared to previous installments in the series.
Although Borderlands 3 received positive reviews, it didn’t quite match the success of Borderlands 2. Some early technical difficulties, along with a storyline and fresh characters that garnered mixed reactions, detracted from the overall enjoyment. It is yet to be determined if Borderlands 4 will revert back to its classic form or even surpass the beloved experience, but in the interim, fans can replay the originals and uncover new rewards.
