In the world of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory, I, as a gamer, get to work with an impressive 341 unique Digimon companions! Some of these can join my team by capturing their data during combat and using Digiconvert. However, to truly make them mine, I’ll need to guide them through the process of digivolving and dedigivolving, shaping my roster in the process.
As a dedicated gamer immersed in the digital world of Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory, I’ve discovered that some ultra-rare Digimon can only be unlocked after obtaining specific items or by completing certain missions. Interestingly, two of these elusive Digimon are hidden behind the completion of the main storyline itself. This is consistent with the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Complete Edition too, where these digivolutions remain locked until fulfilled conditions are met.
How to Digivolve in Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory
To advance your Digimon in “Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker’s Memory”, make sure to visit the Digilab and access the Digibank. Inside this menu, look for the Digivolve/Dedigivolve option. This feature will display the possible digivolutions and dedigivolutions for all your collected Digimon. Selecting one of these options will show you the prerequisites needed to perform that specific digivolution.
Common prerequisites often involve meeting specific levels, maintaining certain stat thresholds, possessing a specific ABI (Affinity Bond Index), and/or demonstrating sufficient camaraderie (CAM). Some digital evolutions will be the result of fusions between two digimon, which can only occur if you’ve established 100% camaraderie with the other digimon. Furthermore, numerous digital evolutions listed in this guide demand that you either finish a specific quest or chapter, or have a particular item in your inventory. Many of these items are earned by completing quests themselves.
Regularly transforming your Digimon between its evolved forms (digivolving and dedigivolving) is key to increasing the ABI stat. This is important because ABI influences how much other stats can be enhanced through training on the farm island, which is essential for creating stronger Digimon in the long run.
Flamedramon

Veemon transforms into Flamedramon when it uses the Digi-Egg of Courage for an Armor Digivolution. To trigger this evolution, you’ll first need to obtain the Digi-Egg of Courage by triumphing in the Gold Cup tournament within the Offline Coliseum. This event becomes available once Chapter 6 begins, and it’s most effective when played with a group of Ultimate Level Digimon.
At the stage where you can obtain Flamedramon in the game, he may appear somewhat weak. However, as he progresses, he learns formidable skills that can be transferred to his future evolutions. In terms of his capabilities, Flamedramon’s signature move, “Flaming Fist,” inflicts fire damage on all opponents. Additionally, his supportive skill, “Fight or Flight,” boosts the attack power by 20% when the HP falls below 50%, benefiting the entire party.
Agunimon & Lobomon
In Chapter 8, you’ll encounter and defeat a dual boss battle featuring Agunimon (the Spirit of Flame) and Lobomon (the Spirit of Light), who are human-like spirits. Upon victory, you’ll earn the special items known as “Human Spirit of Flame” and “Human Spirit of Light”. These precious artifacts enable certain Digimon to evolve into their respective forms, Agunimon and Lobomon.
Agunimon is a physical fighter specializing in fire attacks, his signature move being “Pyro Punch” that inflicts double fire damage on one target. Lobomon, on the other hand, is another physical combatant with light element abilities, and his signature attack, “Zwei Sieger,” delivers light damage with a higher probability of being critical. They both possess the support skill “Human Spirit,” which boosts the party’s speed by 20% while lowering their attack by 10%.
BurningGreymon & KendoGarurumon
Unlocking BurningGreymon and KendoGarurumon, the spirits representing Fire and Light, can be achieved by completing the mission “Dinosaurists’ Territory Capture” either during or after Chapter 13. In return, you will receive the essential items “Flame Beast Spirit” and “Light Beast Spirit”. These items enable select Digimon like Agunimon and Lobomon to undergo digivolution into BurningGreymon and KendoGarurumon respectively.
They both possess the ability called “Beast Spirit,” which boosts their Attack by 20% while decreasing their Speed by 10%. BurningGreymon is a fire-based physical combatant, and his special move, “Corona Blaster,” strikes 3 to 6 times, inflicting physical fire damage. On the other hand, KendoGarurumon is a light-element physical fighter, and his unique attack, “Speed Star,” delivers physical light damage and enhances the user’s speed by 20%.
Obtaining control over BurningGreymon and KendoGarurumon grants you the ability to evolve them into KaiserGreymon and MagnaGarurumon respectively. These two Digimon can then fuse into Susanoomon. KaiserGreymon is a physical combatant specializing in fire attacks, with his signature move, “Firedrake Sword”, dealing significant fire damage to a single enemy. Additionally, he offers the party-wide support skill, “Wind-Flame, Ice-Sword”, which boosts the effectiveness of fire, wind, plant, and earth abilities by 8%.

In simpler terms, MagnaGarurumon is a fighter with a focus on physical attacks, particularly fire-based ones. Its signature move, “Machinegun Destroyer,” inflicts substantial physical fire damage and temporarily lowers the target’s defense by 10%. Additionally, it has a support skill called “Dark-Lgt, Thunder-Cannon” that amplifies the effectiveness of electric, water, light, and dark skills by 8%. MagnaGarurumon can transform into another form called MagnaGarurumon SV in the digivolution menu. This transformation sacrifices some health and attack power for increased speed, and changes its signature move to “Starlight Velocity.” This move delivers physical light damage and boosts the user’s speed by 10%.
Susanoomon, an impressive Ultra Stage digimon categorized under the Vaccine attribute, is a formidable force in the digital world. His initial special move, “Celestial Blade”, unleashes electric power to strike down all opponents. For his second signature attack, “Heaven’s Thunder”, he hurls lightning at a single target no less than 8 times, potentially causing paralysis with a 30% probability. Moreover, his Support Skill, “God of War”, boosts the party’s attack power, intelligence, and the effectiveness of light-based skills by 10%.
Magnamon and Rapidmon (Gold)
To summon Magnamon and Rapidmon (Gold), you must first acquire the Miracle Digi-Egg and the Destiny Digi-Egg. These precious items are obtained from the blacklisted hacker in the “Beat Aloof Hacker Kazuyoshi” Case, which can be accessed starting from Chapter 15. If you want to find this mission, simply send your Digimon on your island to investigate. Once completed, you’ll gain access to these powerful Digimon.
Magnamon is a versatile and balanced Digital Monster, who belongs to the Royal Knights. His supportive ability, “Miracle,” triggers with a 10% likelihood, reducing incoming damage for the entire team by 75%. He’s renowned for his signature attacks: the triple magic fire attack, “Plasma Shot,” and the “S-Gold Solar Storm,” which deals magic light damage to all opponents while boosting DEF by 15%.
Rapidmon (Gold) shares many admirable qualities with other robust Digimon, and his unique ability, “Destiny”, not only restores the Health Points (HP) and Special Points (SP) for the entire team but also makes him a formidable ally. His signature move, “Golden Triangle”, delivers a light blow to a single opponent, with a 20% chance of temporarily boosting all of Rapidmon’s stats by 10%.
Hudiemon & Arcadiamon
Completing the main story of Hacker’s Memory grants access to Hudiemon and Arkadimon. The first one, Hudiemon, is an advanced-level Digimon capable of causing Poison, Confusion, and Paralysis with her Infinity Dream ability, delivering Physical Wind damage using Flying Kick, and boasting a support skill that decreases the likelihood of negative status effects on the entire party while also providing healing each turn.
The evolutionary line of Digimons named Arcadiamon, each with distinct appearances at various stages, shares a recurring theme. Each form of Arcadiamon possesses a unique healing attack that recovers a percentage of the damage inflicted, and the support skill “Utopia,” which decreases the likelihood of instant death by half and enhances Critical Rate (CRT) by 10% for the entire team.
