In the setting of Blue Prince, the proper combination for the red door lock is M-A-Y-8. This sequence stands out as the only feasible option since ‘8’ is the sole number available in the final slot, and ‘MAY’ is the unique month that aligns with the first three positions containing letters.
The Time-Lock Safe
The Time-Lock safe is quite intriguing; it necessitates a unique method to be opened. This safe is exclusive to The Shelter, a secluded outdoor space that becomes accessible once you’ve opened the West Gate.
The Time-Lock Safe operates uniquely, as it doesn’t rely on a numerical code. Instead, you need to determine the present time and date, then input this information at the Terminal nearby to schedule when the safe will open automatically.

What you should do instead is determine the current date (November 6 plus your days elapsed), and input a time into the Shelter Terminal that is at least one hour later than the present moment.
