During bright, sun-soaked days, especially during springtime, you’ll spot the delightful creatures known as Cherubi. During the special event called “Timed Research: Spring Collection Challenge – Sprouting Days,” there will be an abundance of Cherubi, along with Roselia, Oddish, and Hoppip. To enhance the chances of encountering Cherubi, consider setting up Lures at PokeStops, or make use of Incense.
To effectively capture Cherubi, offer it either a Pinap Berry or a Silver Pinap Berry. This action will not only increase the amount of candy you receive upon a successful capture by two times, but also make the catching process easier for the wild Pokémon. It’s worth noting that Silver Pinap Berries possess the same effect as both a Razz Berry and a Pinap Berry.
How to Evolve Cherubi into Cherrim
Overcast vs. Sunny Form
To make a Cherubi transform into Cherrim, provide it with 50 pieces of Cherubi Candy. Earlier, we suggested that the most effective method to accumulate Cherubi Candy is by offering wild Cherubi (or Cherrim) Pinap/Silver Pinap Berries before capturing them. It’s also beneficial to catch every Cherubi that appears on your screen, even if you don’t use Pinap Berries. In such cases, you’ll still receive triple the Candy for each successfully captured Cherubi.
Those familiar with Pokemon know that Cherrim has two forms:
- Overcast
- Sunny
In contrast to popular assumption, the appearance of Cherrim in Pokemon GO isn’t influenced by the game’s weather conditions. Similar to Wurmple, you’ll encounter either form randomly with a 50% chance for each. If your goal is to own both forms of Cherrim, it’s recommended to keep capturing Cherubi until you’ve accumulated more than 100 Cherubi Candy.
In contrast to console games, where Cherrim’s form alters based on the weather during battles, Cherrim’s form remains unchanged once you evolve your Cherubi in real life. The transformation is permanent.
