In each mission of Sniper Elite: Resistance, you’ll find a variety of items to discover. These range from Personal Letters, Classified Documents, and Hidden Items, but there are additional items to keep an eye out for. To unlock new weapon components, be sure to work with specific Workbenches, and don’t forget to scan the rooftops for any Stone Eagles that can be broken into fragments.
As an enthusiastic player, I’ve stumbled upon two intriguing spots on the game map that hold potential for fresh starting points. Interacting with certain items within these zones is crucial to unlock them, a simple stroll-by won’t do the trick!
Starting Locations for Vercors Vendetta in Sniper Elite: Resistance
For certain gamers, each map doesn’t qualify as a collectible, but it does offer alternative spots where players can begin their gameplay. The Vercors Vendetta is no exception. By default, players start at the top-left corner, but they can discover two additional starting points that can assist them in achieving their objectives more effectively. These alternate starting locations can benefit players during collectible runs, when playing on Authentic difficulty, and when trying to reach their Kill List targets undetected.
Initially, players should find themselves at Poppy Field. As they traverse the map, they should stick close to the right border as it leads them past one of their main targets en route to a modest cottage. This cottage will be signified by a blue side objective marker. After that, players should advance northward from this secondary objective until the game hints about a new starting point being nearby. They will notice a rope hanging over a cliff and a small fire at its base. By lighting this campfire, they can access the newly unlocked starting location.
The starting point for Vercors Vendetta’s second stage is the Derelict Cavern. To locate it, players should consult their map and focus on the main objective marked in the bottom-left corner. Instead of moving directly towards the objective from the east, continue moving downwards on the map. As you proceed, stay along the bottom edge of the map. Following this path will lead you to a road that ascends a ramp and makes a turn, which eventually opens up to a gate. Unlocking this gate not only grants access to the gate itself but also unlocks the starting location. An effective starting point can significantly enhance the gaming experience.
All Collectibles for Vercors Vendetta in Sniper Elite: Resistance
The leftover items to gather during the mission include pick-up objects (stone eagles), targets to destroy, and workstations. These items will be strategically placed across the mission, allowing players to collect them all while moving from one goal to another. Each collectible will be identified by a unique color:
1. Pick-up Objects – Green
2. Stone Eagles – Red
3. Workstations – Blue
- Red: Personal Letters
- Green: Classified Documents
- Blue: Hidden Items
- White: Stone Eagles
In each mission of the game, excluding the initial one, you’ll come across three Workbenches to discover. The Workbenches on the given map are already unlocked and marked with their corresponding Workbench symbol.
No. | Collectible Type | Collectible Name | Description |
---|---|---|---|
1 | Personal Letter | No Brother of Mine | This letter is in the same building as the first workbench. Players will enter this house’s bottom floor and find it to the right of the door. The workbench is on the floor above. There are enemies around this building, but players should have more than just the best early game skills by this point. |
2 | Personal Letter | New Cannons | Inside the marked house, there will be a wire spool. Sitting on top of this spool will be the personal letter. This wire spool can be found close to the door players use to enter the building. Collectibles will show a prompt when you are close to them, and this one will be easy to notice. |
3 | Personal Letter | Worst Officer Alive | This letter is located in the same place as this mission’s Kill List target. Each map has one of these Kill List targets, and each has a special challenge linked to them. To the right of the large house with a grey roof, there will be a group of smaller buildings. This letter can be found in the topmost one. |
4 | Personal Letter | The Lord Guide Us | Along the northeast ridge of one of the yellow main objectives will be a small house. Inside this building, there will be a war room. The Personal letter can be found on the table in this room. |
5 | Personal Letter | Gas Mask Shortage | This letter can be found on the opposite side of where players start. They will head to this location while they complete their main missions. There is a cave that they will need to enter. This letter can be found in the tent along the edge of the map heading towards this cave. |
1 | Classified Document | Think Before Firing | After players have picked up the second Personal Letter. They can head to the story above them. This document can be found on the table with some radio equipment. |
2 | Classified Document | Nebelwerfer Repaired | In the same area as the Kill List target, there will be a large house with a grey roof on the map that players can enter. They will find this document sitting on one of the storage crates in this house after entering it. |
3 | Classified Document | Nebelwerfer Maintenance | As stated previously, there are several smaller buildings to the right of this large house. The Personal Letter is in the topmost one, while the third document for this mission will be in the middle building. |
4 | Classified Document | Warhead Storage | Players will see a house with a gray roof at the bottom left side of the map. Players will see plenty of radio equipment. This document can be found next to the radio with the typewriter sitting on top of it. |
5 | Classified Document | Final Warning | Once players enter the cave to plant their satchel charge, they will first want to go through the door on the left side after entering. This will lead them to a small room with a table in it. They will find this document sitting on the table. |
1 | Hidden Item | Propaganda Poster | There are many Propaganda Posters that players will need to tear down throughout the game. On the far left side of the map will be a building in ruins. Go to the top floor of this building to find this Propaganda Poaster in it’s attic. |
2 | Hidden Item | Radio Tin | Players will easily notice the windmill in this mission. It sits near the middle of the map to the left of the Kill List Target. Climb to the top of this windmill to find this Hidden Item. This also makes for a great sniper nest. This windmill is reminiscent of Mission 7. |
3 | Hidden Item | Rabbit’s Foot | Outside of the building with the Personal Letter, players will see a blue storage box with a lantern on it. The Rabbit’s Foot can be found on top of this chest. |
1 | Stone Eagle | Stone Eagle 1 | Stand on the left side of the windmill and use your binoculars along the left side of the map to mark this stone eagle. Once it is highlighted, it will be easier to hit. |
2 | Stone Eagle | Stone Eagle 2 | This Stone Eagle sits on top of the building with Classified Document #3 in it. |
3 | Stone Eagle | Stone Eagle 3 | This Stone Eagle sits on top of the building with Classified Document #4 in it. |
Top | Workbench | Workbench 1 | The workbench nearest to where the player starts. Players can climb up the marked building using some vines that will lead them to a locked door they can pick. |
Middle | Workbench | Workbench 2 | Approach this workbench from the south to find some planks to tear down. Head inside and you’ll find the workbench. |
Bottom | Workbench | Workbench 3 | Players will find this in the same tent as Personal letter #5. |
As a gamer, I’d say it’s smart to grab the nearby collectibles that resemble the ones you’ve just found. This way, you can avoid wasting time and unnecessary running back and forth. That’s why developers include a single map with all the collectibles marked in different colors, making it easy for us to track specific items or even snag them all at once.
