Unlock Every Phasmophobia ID Card and Badge with This Ultimate Guide!

As a Phasmophobia enthusiast, I find the ID card to be a handy, customizable element in the game that showcases essential player details such as my name, gaming platform, level, badges earned, and my chosen character model. It’s not just a stylish accessory, but also a practical tool for managing interactions within the game itself.

In the game of Phasmophobia, you have the ability to personalize your ID cards. You can modify your character’s appearance as well as choose from various badges that you earn through progression, Prestige, or taking part in special events. This tutorial will explain how ID Cards work, how to acquire and customize them, and the conditions required for unlocking all possible badges in Phasmophobia.

What are ID Cards in Phasmophobia

In the game Phasmophobia, as players successfully navigate hunts and uncover spectral entities, they accrue cash and experience points (XP). Advancing through levels grants access to fresh maps, increased difficulty settings, and ID Cards. These ID Cards serve as a visual emblem, showcasing player details such as their personal information.

  • Player Name
  • Platform Icon
  • Level
  • Badge
  • Character Model

At the base of an ID card, a player’s experience (XP) advancement is visually demonstrated using a progress bar. Yet, when peering at others’ ID cards, this bar serves as a control for adjusting their voice chat volume.

How to Customize ID Cards

Initially, all players assume the role of interns and are issued a basic ID Card Design. You can alter Character Models at your convenience by clicking on their portrait and adjusting their looks. To modify the badge on your ID Card, simply click on the customize button located in the upper right corner. As you advance in levels, engage in holiday or community events, or join Kinetic Game as a partner or staff member, you will acquire additional badges to display on your card.

Upon achieving Prestige Level One, players will be rewarded with Prestige Badges. This milestone is achieved when they reach level 100. To accumulate experience points (XP) effectively, players should accurately recognize ghosts, endure hunts, and accomplish additional tasks or objectives.

Prestige badges 1-10 have static backgrounds while levels 11-20 have animated backgrounds.

The Special Badges can only be granted under specific circumstances. Events like holidays or community gatherings, such as the Cursed Hollow Easter Event of 2025, ensure at least one exclusive badge. These badges are accessible for a short period and cannot be obtained after the event has concluded. Additionally, certain Special Badges are bestowed upon players who are part of Kinetic, which includes Discord members, partners, translators, and content creators who win contests.

On some maps, players earn distinctive emblems when they successfully locate and outlast a specific quantity of ghostly entities during gameplay.
