Unlock Legendary Gear in AC Shadows with Free Battle Passes – No Catch!

In “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” the series delves into feudal Japan, offering gamers a chance to experiment with two unique character perspectives – Naoe and Yasuke. The game maintains its traditional blend of stealth and action mechanics, but also offers an abundance of optional activities for players to engage in as they traverse the beautiful surroundings.

Titled Shadows_Projects, the game offers two separate Battle Passes, providing an opportunity to secure some attractive rewards without spending a dime. The catch? A little hard work is needed, something fans of this genre are usually more than willing to provide. In this guide, we’ll delve into the intricacies of the Battle Pass system within Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Battle Pass System Explained

In the game ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’, the Battle Pass is divided into two distinct paths: Legacy and Awakening. To access these, go to the main menu, then press and hold the Menu button on Xbox, the touchpad on PlayStation, or press F1 on PC. This action will bring up the Animus Menu, where you can find both Battle Passes.

In this game setup, the Legacy Battle Pass is associated with Naoe, whereas the Awakening Battle Pass caters to Yasuke. Successfully completing either of these passes will grant a Legendary Armor Set specifically for the corresponding character. Each Battle Pass consists of 21 levels, and as you advance through each level, you’ll receive unique rewards for reaching those milestones.

You’re able to advance through each Battle Pass sequentially, yet you’re permitted to swap between them freely whenever you wish, and none of the progress you’ve made will be lost in the process.

How to Level Up the AC Shadows Battle Pass

As a gamer, I need to level up my Battle Pass by tackling Anomalies – a set of weekly missions that pop up every seven days. Each fresh cycle brings four new Anomaly quests, and completing one nets me 700 Data Fragments. These precious Data Fragments are the keys to climbing through the Battle Pass levels.

Collecting 600 Data Fragments will grant you one level in the Battle Pass.

As an enthusiast, diving into Anomalies requires me to fire up the Animus and make my way to the Anomaly Menu. The missions vary, from simple challenges such as vanquishing a specific number of Samurais or gathering a specified amount of Mon (the currency), to intricate objectives like excavating Echoes or exterminating Corrupted Entities.

Initially, these quests won’t be available at the outset. Instead, you need to complete The Wounded storyline up until the Heads Will Roll mission. During this adventure, when you approach Kyonyo on a dirt track east of Amagasaki Castle, you’ll stumble upon an Animus Portal. Engage with it to initiate a brief sequence within the Animus. Upon its conclusion, you’ll reappear in Japan and find Anomalies Objectives added to your quest log.

As you progress in the game, you’ll be able to achieve Anomaly goals to collect Data Fragments. Your currently active Battle Pass in the Animus Menu will level up incrementally as you conquer more and more Anomalies within the game.

The gear obtained from the battle passes scale up to the player’s level when you claim them.

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, what I appreciate most about the Battle Pass system is its unobtrusive nature. The majority of Anomalies tasks are accomplished effortlessly as you engage in regular gameplay. Don’t forget to occasionally access the Animus Menu to monitor your progress and collect your prizes.
