The latest addition to the game “Sniper Elite: Resistance” now comes with two new downloadable content packs, and excitingly, one of them is available at no cost! Initially launched as a Day One title on Xbox Game Pass in January, these new DLCs are perfect for players eager to revisit this widely-loved shooter.
Developed by Rebellion Developments, the game titled “Sniper Elite: Resistance” became available on Xbox Game Pass on January 30th. In this strategic third-person shooter, players assume the role of Harry Hawker in Vichy France, aiming to eliminate key members of the government collaborating with the Nazis.
As a devoted fan, I’m thrilled to share that Sniper Elite: Resistance has just dropped two exciting DLCs! The first one, “Fairburne’s Armoury Weapons and Skins Pack,” is available free for all players. This freebie includes two brand-new weapons, the M1A1 Gov. Submachine Gun and the M.1903 Rifle, along with two unique skins. The new skins showcase our beloved protagonist, Karl Fairburne, in two different outfits – his original attire and one sporting a field jacket.
The second DLC, “Vercors Vendetta Mission and Weapons Pack,” can be purchased for $12. This paid DLC offers the M1941 Rifle, the Armaguerra OG-44 Submachine Gun, and the new Vercorts Vendetta Campaign Mission. In this Sniper Elite: Resistance mission, players are tasked with tracking down one final stash of weapons, ensuring these lethal tools don’t fall into the wrong hands and cause harm to the innocent French population.

To enhance the gameplay of the hit tactical third-person shooter, Sniper Elite: Resistance, even further, a DLC was combined with a free update that introduced two additional multiplayer maps at no cost: St. Raymonds and the fan-favorite Flooded Village No Cross from Sniper Elite 5. The game garnered positive reception upon release, with critics commending its diverse missions and weapons, making it gratifying to see the developers continue to bolster these elements of this popular title.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers who enjoyed playing Sniper Elite: Resistance should take note that Rebellion Developments is releasing another day one game for the subscription service soon, titled Atomfall. This new game will be available starting March 27, and those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can play it on launch day. In Atomfall, players will venture through an alternate version of the United Kingdom in a post-apocalyptic setting from the 1960s. Unlike the Sniper Elite series, Atomfall is a first-person game that places more emphasis on investigating and exploring environments to progress the story.
