In the world of Monster Hunter Wilds, you’ll encounter a variety of missions tailored for your hunting adventure. Ranging from straightforward hunts to those with unexpected twists, these quests will keep you engaged and offer rare treasures as rewards.

These tasks are known as Event Quests, which may include diverse items ranging from materials essential for your advancement in Monster Hunter Wilds, or they could provide materials needed to craft fresh equipment pieces. The details of each quest can also differ significantly from standard hunts. For instance, the ongoing event is the King of a Distant Realm quest.

King of a Faraway Sky Event Quest Details and Rewards

The event quest “The Reign of the Sky King” is playable until April 15, at 7PM EST. To participate, you need to be Hunter Rank 31 or above and battle a tempered Guardian Rathalos in the Ruins of Wyveria. While the Rathalos itself is similar to what you’d encounter during regular hunts, the twist lies in every other monster on the map being tempered too. So, be wary while exploring the world as these tempered monsters can deal significant damage if you’re not careful. Upon successful completion, players will receive a variety of Artian materials for crafting Artian Weapons.

To take on this task, Alma will find a designated tab labeled “Event Quests”. By choosing this page, she’ll gain access to all details related to the quest. She can complete this quest multiple times during its active period, provided it falls within the timeframe when the quest is accessible. Once that period elapses, the quest won’t be playable anymore and will be replaced with a new one.
