In the game titled “Revenge of the Savage Planet,” players gradually gain access to an assortment of tools and gear as they uncover more celestial bodies. These essential items enable players to traverse planets freely, without encountering hindrances. Scattered across these planets is a sticky, yellow substance called Amber that you can find in various locations. Regular weapons or explosive devices won’t affect it, so players must locate Blight Bombs to liquefy the Amber.
Where to Find Blight Bombs in Revenge of the Savage Planet
As I roam through the diverse worlds of Revenge of the Savage Planet, I come across hardened amber deposits hidden everywhere. The common folk call these crystalline formations, and only the Blight Bombs can shatter them. Unlike the Bombegranates that just blow up, Blight Bombs have a corrosive quality that eats away at the amber and obliterates most enemies with a single strike. You can find Blight Bombs scattered across planets, but they’re particularly abundant on Quasadron IX.
Using a Blight Bomb sets off a 6-second countdown. Once this time elapses, the bomb automatically deactivates, not causing harm to the player. However, if you toss the bomb at crystallized amber, it will melt the amber. This action can expose interactive spots in the surroundings such as grapple points, concealed pathways, and resources that have been blocked off. Moreover, it’s crucial for fixing The Rusty Javelin.
How to Unlock the Blight Bomb Stabilizer Upgrade
In the game “Revenge of the Savage Planet”, Amber can only be broken with Blight Bombs, but a six-second timer restricts their usage to nearby deposits. The solution to this limitation is to acquire the Blight Bomb Stabilizer suit upgrade. Once unlocked, this upgrade enables players to keep Blight Bombs in their inventory and use them at their convenience.
Upon reaching the Quasadron IX planet, players will be able to unlock the upgrade by successfully finishing the quest titled “The Lower PH The Better”. To initiate the quest, simply head towards the designated marker on your map, where you’ll find the task of capturing the Alpha Sluggator awaits.
Dig a hole in the center of the designated area, and you’ll uncover the elusive creature beneath. It’s advisable to eliminate any Sluggators initially to facilitate the capture process more smoothly. Once they’re dealt with, precisely target the weak spot on the Alpha Sluggator’s head and fire to render it unconscious. Finally, utilize your whip to ensnare the creature and transport it back to its enclosure at Stellaris Prime.
Currently, what you should do is input your base and commence your study on the Alpha Sluggator. After finishing the research, you’ll gain access to the Blight Bomb Stabilizer upgrade in Revenge of the Savage Planet, which will set you back 425 Aluminum, 550 Carbon, and 375 Silicon.
