Instead of sticking with the usual narrative seen over several decades in Dynasty Warriors games, Omega Force opted for a fresh approach with Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Instead of commanding one of the beloved historical figures that fans are accustomed to, players will now control an original character who faces the challenge of choosing which of the three main factions can restore peace to the realm.

After deciding their allegiance, a Peace Guardian might secretly work against their chosen faction, aiming to elevate one of the other two factions instead. But in the game “Dynasty Warriors: Origins”, players have the opportunity to thwart these malicious intentions, especially when striving for Shu’s true ending and the “A Truly Just World” Trophy/Achievement.

How to Unlock the True Ending for Shu in Dynasty Warriors: Origins (Liu Bei Secret Ending)

To witness the genuine conclusion for Shu, players should aim to overcome Cao Cao at the Battle of Changban, an event that unfolds in the game’s concluding chapter. Out of the three hidden endings in “Dynasty Warriors: Origins”, this one is the most accessible to unlock. Players will merely need to modify a single character’s destiny to unveil it, and there’s no pressure from time limitations either. However, it’s recommended to switch to Historian difficulty for an added edge and better odds of victory.

Players should move forward in the fight until Cao Cao’s primary troops appear near the upper part of the map, then they should aim to eliminate any officers attacking Liu Bei. After that, they should head north towards Wei forces, eliminating officers along the way. Upon reaching their destination, they should rush straight to Cao Cao and attempt to defeat him promptly. Ideally, they’d like to dismantle his large army first, but given that Liu Bei is still under attack and moving towards the escape point, it’s more important to end this battle swiftly.

After Cao Cao is defeated, a message titled “Fate Altered” will display, prompting players to challenge Bailuan in a duel to wrap up the battle. Subsequently, they should complete the last two battles of Chapter 5 following regular procedures. Upon doing so, they’ll unlock the Shu true ending. It is feasible to attain this ending on the initial playthrough by strategizing wisely; however, if it’s missed, players can easily return to the Battle of Changban via the Inn’s Story menu after finishing Liu Bei’s narrative, and try again.

To earn the “A Fair and Just World” Trophy/Achievement, players must successfully finish the Shu storyline and reach its genuine conclusion.
