Unlock the Exciting Xbox Game Pass Titles Coming in June 2025!

2025 has surpassed the midway mark, and it seems reasonable to predict that this year could rank among Xbox Game Pass‘s finest years yet. So far, we’ve seen exclusive first-party titles such as “Doom: The Dark Ages,” “Avowed,” and “South of Midnight” join the service, along with blockbuster day-one third-party releases like “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” and “Blue Prince,” two of the highest-rated games this year.

It seems like the hot run for Xbox Game Pass isn’t slowing down; it’s ending May with a boom by adding the potential 2024 Game of the Year, “Metaphor: ReFantazio”, to its collection soon. The lineup for June 2025 is shaping up nicely too, with titles like “The Alters”, “FBC: Firebreak”, “Rematch”, and five other games already confirmed. However, there’s still space for a few more games to join the Xbox Game Pass in June.

Xbox Game Pass Wish List for June 2025: Gex Trilogy

Release Date: June 16, 2025

The “Gex Trilogy” is scheduled to launch on June 16th and brings together all three classic platformers featuring the charming gecko character from the ’90s. Developed by Crystal Dynamics, this trilogy consists of the initial 1995 2D platformer, as well as the two subsequent 3D platformers that kept the series alive until 1999. The “Gex Trilogy” is powered by the Carbon Engine and offers several updates to these beloved retro games, such as enhanced camera controls for the 3D installments. The “Gex Trilogy” might not be the most anticipated release of June 2025, but it would surely make a valuable addition to the Xbox Game Pass library.

Xbox Game Pass Wish List for June 2025: Death Stranding

Release Date: Available Now

Back in the chilly days of November 2019, I had the pleasure of diving into Hideo Kojima’s masterpiece, Death Stranding. This was his first game post his separation from Konami a few years back. Initially, Death Stranding garnered a mixed response due to its more deliberate gameplay pace at launch. However, over time, it has been recognized as one of Kojima’s finest creations. And finally, in November 2024, Xbox gamers like myself were granted the opportunity to immerse ourselves in this remarkable journey.

Excitedly speaking as a fan, I can’t wait for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach to drop next month on PlayStation, but it’d be fantastic if the original game found its way onto Xbox Game Pass in June too!

Xbox Game Pass Wish List for June 2025: Red Dead Redemption 2

Release Date: Available Now

The acclaimed masterpiece, “Red Dead Redemption 2” from Rockstar Games, has grown even more remarkable as time passes. The intense narrative about an outlaw grappling with a rapidly transforming world remains strikingly relevant and captivating nearly seven years after its debut in 2018. Every gamer should have the chance to immerse themselves in this story at least once. Although “Red Dead Redemption 2” has been available on Xbox Game Pass multiple times over the past five years, it’s been some time since it was last included. Adding it back next month would be a fantastic decision.

Xbox Game Pass Wish List for June 2025: Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater (Classic)

Release Date: Available Now

Xbox Game Pass has just enriched its subscription service by incorporating more than 50 timeless Activision games under a fresh segment called “Retro Classics”. This segment boasts a variety of iconic titles from the ’80s and ’90s, like Pitfall, MechWarrior, and Dragster, to name a few. Xbox has hinted that this is merely the first step in their dedication towards game preservation and ensuring backward compatibility.

Looking forward, it seems likely that additional timeless Activision games may soon join Xbox Game Pass. It’d be fantastic if some vintage PlayStation 1 gems like the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series make their way onto Game Pass, especially considering that Pro Skater 3 and 4 are set to launch in July.
