Unlock the Secret Spot to Farm Candescite in Eternal Strands Fast!

In the opening act of “Eternal Strands,” Glintwood Hollow is my starting ground, but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s a low-value zone. While the weather shifts and transforms each realm, offering unique Epic Encounters with every change, there are secret resting spots nestled across each map that overflow with top-tier resources. As I journey through this game, I’m constantly on the lookout for these hidden gems!

In Glintwood Hollow, Steel serves as an initial resource for players, rated as a 2-star Regorged Resource. However, you can also uncover a 3-star equivalent from the same category by exploring and farming Candescite. This resource mysteriously appears in a concealed camp located at the most northern part of the map.

Best Locations To Farm Candescite

Candescite, a three-star upgraded resource, carries a Heat attribute and is frequently found in the Upper Dynevron, the third realm within the game. Earning its benefits early in the game can provide a significant edge against challenging bosses such as Ashpeak Drake or Ark of the Stricken Earth.

Glintwood Hollow

Follow the western part of Feller’s Arch on your map, and you should find an entrance to a cave near the area before the fast travel point. The entrance is currently barricaded with some timber. Ensure you remove these blocks first.

Currently, an elevator is found within, accompanied by a torch on its left side. To activate the elevator, the player needs to ignite the torch using fire. Once in the Dredger’s Mire realm, players can effortlessly accomplish this by firing a Flame Arrow or employing the Drake’s Breath ability.

If you haven’t unlocked anything yet in this game as a gamer like me, here’s a tip: Remember those explosive flowers from the initial mission? You can use them now. Lucky for us, there are some of these near Feller’s Arch, with one conveniently placed beneath the teleport circle. To execute this plan, grab the explosive flower using Weaver’s Grasp strand, then carefully make your way up into the cave and toss it at the torch. Once that torch lights up, the elevator will become operational!

Currently, bend your head downwards and you’ll come across two large, reddish rocks that yield Candescite and Serenite. Remember to strike them with an electrically-charged attack for best results.

You can keep performing this action by continuously moving from the Campsite to the Glintwood Hollow and back, since the ores reappear in this cycle. However, be aware that they take some time to respawn, so if you return too frequently, you might not find fresh rocks there just yet.

Upper Dynevron

In Upper Dynevron, Candescite and Serenite ores can be discovered in numerous places, serving as a frequent resource throughout the kingdom. However, if you’re looking for the optimal spot to mine these ores, it would be just south of the starting teleport circle. Along the banks of the mystical river, you will come across these ores embedded on overhanging cliffs.
