Unlock the Secrets: Change Factions in SynDuality: Echo of Ada Today!

At first glance in “SynDuality: Echo of Ada“, it might appear that players are exclusively part of one group – the Drifter Support Association. However, while completing tasks for the Association may seem comfortable and primarily resource-gathering from the surface, there’s actually another path players can choose. This hidden choice lies beneath the apparent simplicity of the surface work.

During the instructional videos given to players, it’s subtly suggested that some Drifters engage in illicit activities. As a result, these Drifters should be approached with care. It’s important to know that these independent Drifters aren’t officially affiliated with the Association and are actually Outlaws, which players can join through two different approaches.

Change Factions By Hunting Other Players

The initial strategy could be rephrased as follows: Instead of waiting for a fight, you can seize the opportunity to challenge another player in combat and take their Magus. When pursuing another player during an expedition, it’s usually advantageous to catch them off guard, which increases your chances of winning a skirmish. If you successfully defeat another player, collect the loot from the fallen crate and acquire the Magus for a bounty reward. Performing this task at least three times will make the player notorious as an Outlaw by the Drifter Support Association, leading to their expulsion. Following this, independent factions will open up opportunities for you to complete contracts that offer unique Cradle components, Magus fashion items, and weapons.

Remember, only members of the Association who are in good standing or under caution may participate in open combat. Killing an Outlaw player won’t earn any rewards; instead, it’s just about collecting the bounty for returning a missing Magus to its rightful owner.

When going after another player actively, there are some fundamental strategies to optimize your gear and readiness. Choosing a long-range weapon such as the Sniper Rifle HE or Bolt Sniper Rifle can be highly beneficial since they deal immense damage in one shot and have an impressive range. Nonetheless, keep in mind that the effectiveness of these weapons decreases over distance due to bullet drop-off.

Inspecting weapons kept in the garage or looking at the range indicator displayed beneath the crosshairs in your Heads-Up Display (HUD) will help you determine both minimum and maximum ranges.

Bonus harm can be inflicted by striking someone from behind in their midsection, so try to catch your opponent off balance with their back turned for a significant advantage. Additionally, there are multiple CRADLECOFFIN designs that specialize in damaging other Cradles, such as the SHINTower and BOWIEChilipepper line.

Leave The Drifter Support Association For A Hefty Fee

In SynDuality: Echo of Ada, if you’re not keen on engaging in direct combat with players, there’s an alternative way to cease being part of the Drifter Support Association. This is subtly hinted at in the game, specifically over the radio in the garage area. To do this, navigate to the Records screen within the garage between expeditions. Once there, find and select the “Organization” option. You’ll then be presented with an opportunity to pay a fee of 100,000 Credits to leave the Drifter Support Association. Following this payment, you’ll witness a cutscene, after which you can start taking jobs from independent organizations instead.

Completing these tasks one after another in a consecutive manner offers multiple distinct rewards such as:

1. A set of three CRADLECOFFIN sequences that are exclusive to non-Drifter Support Association members.
2. Various attire choices for the Magus character.
3. Three types of ballistic ammunition weapons.

At the conclusion, players will be given an option: they can either join the Drifter Support Association for free, or they had the chance earlier to clear a debt by destroying other players’ Cradles on the battlefield, which would have accrued as bounties.
