Yet, the chilly conditions of Ambarino necessitate Arthur to gear up appropriately, and given its colossal size, this fish might require numerous line casts and rod pulls to haul it out from the icy lake.

The next two Legendary Fish are only obtained in the Compendium during specific side missions.

2. Legendary Northern Pike

In Chapter 6 and during the Epilogue, titled “The Veteran,” in O’Creagh’s Run, you can encounter and catch the Famed Northern Pike exclusively with Hamish Sinclair during his linked side-missions. While fishing with Hamish and Arthur, they unexpectedly reel in something more formidable – The Tyrant, a legendary Northern Pike known for its battle scars that attest to its long history as a survivor among fish species.

1. Legendary Channel Catfish

Obtained by: Complete A Fisher of Fish Part 2

In the game, players can’t directly catch the Channel Catfish Legendary, but they can add it to their Compendium if they catch other legendary fish, send them to Jeremy Gill, complete the A Fisher of Fish Part 2 quest (which is only accessible during the Epilogue), and meet certain conditions. This catfish is considered cut content and cannot be acquired in-game. However, the reason Jeremy Gill was shown being pulled into the water by it is because the Compendium mentions that the Channel Catfish Legendary is over 90 inches long and weighs more than 180 pounds.
