One captivating feature of delving into Miraland within Infinity Nikki lies in uncovering the myriad creatures and critters scattered across the game’s diverse regions. These inhabitants not only enhance the game’s immersive experience but are also vital for Nikki’s crafting pursuits, as their offerings are essential for creating the countless outfit designs featured in the game. Some of these resources can be easily gathered, while others might require a keen eye to find.
In the game “Infinity Nikki,” one creature belonging to the second category is the Mani Beetle. Should you require some of these for your DIY projects, it would be beneficial to understand their location properly.
How to Get Mani Beetles in Infinity Nikki
In the game “Infinity Nikki”, Mani Beetles are a somewhat uncommon insect species. They can only be discovered within a particular area in Wishfield, known as the “Wishing Woods”. To collect these beetles, you’ll first need to advance significantly in the main story of “Infinity Nikki”, reaching at least Chapter 6. Once you reach this point, you’ll encounter the Wishing Woods, a region inhabited by the Faewish Sprites. After helping Timis clear the primary path to the Wish Inspection Center, you’ll be allowed to explore the rest of the Wishing Woods.
Mani Beetles are plentiful throughout the Wishing Woods, though they’re only found in this particular region. Unlike other insects that move through grassy fields or fly overhead, these distinctive pink beetles prefer to reside on large overturned tree stumps. You’ll often find them in pairs engaging in combat with their horn-like structures, which makes gathering them more efficient as they tend to congregate in fewer areas.
Similar to many creatures within the game, it’s wise to approach Mani Beetles with care, as they scurry away when you get too near. To capture them, make sure to don your Afternoon Shine ability suit (or any stylish alternative from your closet) using the ability wheel. Then, move cautiously and use your net to catch one or even both Mani Beetles simultaneously if luck is on your side. In addition to the bugs themselves, you’ll also earn Bug-Catching Insight for your success.
If you activate the right spot on your Heart of Infinity Grid, not only will you have a chance to capture Mani Beetles, but each successful catch will also yield Mani Beetle Essence. This spot, which enables the collection of Essence from any suitable insects within the Wishing Woods area, is located on the northern side of the grid.
Keep in mind that you’ll need at least 18,000 Bug-Catching Insights to unlock this feature, but trust me, it’s a valuable investment if you want to create some of the game’s most sought-after clothing items.
Make sure to utilize your daily energy in the “Nourishment Realm” (which can be accessed via any Warp Spire), as it can significantly speed up the increase of your Insight stats if you find them insufficient and require specific Essence materials.
How To Use The Tracker To Get Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
For a better identification of Mani Beetles in the area, I recommend utilizing your Map’s handy tracking tool as well. To activate the tracker, simply open your Map and click on the small book icon located at the bottom left corner of the screen. This will bring up the Collections menu, from where you can use the bug-shaped icon to find the Mani Beetle option under the tabs.
Once you locate it, simply tap it, and the map will instantly show you the closest spots where Mani Beetles can be found. Additionally, once you’ve amassed at least 50 Mani Beetles, you can enhance the tracker to ‘Precise Tracking,’ which enables you to view all approximate locations of the bug on the map.
How To Use Dig, Pear-Pal To Get Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
Instead of manually searching for Mani Beetles, consider utilizing the “Dig, Pear-Pal” feature, which requires minimal effort. This tool allows you to dig for various crafting materials that you’ve unlocked in the game, all while spending a modest amount of Bling.
With Dig and Pear-Pal, you can collect a maximum of 5 items of any type each day. It’s highly recommended that you operate these tools daily to steadily increase your supply of materials.
How To Buy Mani Beetles In Infinity Nikki
Alternatively, if you’re running short on time and need Mani Beetles promptly, you can head to the in-game store. Look for the ‘Resonance’ tab there. In this section, you can buy Mani Beetles using Tranquility Droplets. Each Mani Beetle costs 8 of these droplets, and you earn them by duplicating any outfits rated 4-Star or below.
Instead of using Tranquility Droplets casually, it’s advisable to save them for rare or difficult-to-acquire items such as Shiny Bubbles, Revelation/Resonite Crystals, and additional Blings, since they are more valuable in that context.
