But as I advanced in the campaign’s narrative, I was gifted with extraordinary abilities, each one chipping away at those seemingly impossible hurdles like a master craftsman whittling away at a block of stone, until they were nothing more than a distant memory.

Overcoming the challenge of swimming across a river is a unique ability that only specific types of creatures possess. Interestingly, this skill is crucial for infiltrating the castle at Varun Cliffs, which is a significant mission in the game Coridden, but lacks clear instructions. This feat involves defeating a creature boss and acquiring its form, the Crocolisk – a marine beast.

Head To Varun Rapids – Coridden

At Aatama Valley, the player gets a map mark for Varun Cliffs, yet that entry appears barricaded. However, there’s an alternate route from Varun Rapids. Although this spot isn’t marked on the map, it’s situated on the left side of the Varun Cliffs entrance. To discover it, leap from the Varun Cliffs bridge and follow the path to the left until you come across the gate to Varun Rapids.

Reach Water Cave – Coridden

> At the top of Varun Rapids lies a Water Cave inhabited by a Big Crocolisk. To reach this cave, it’s best to follow the river course, but beware, it might be perilous for non-aquatic creatures to swim the entire way. A safer option would be to swim up to Sejal Village and utilize the boats available on its southern shore to navigate the river. Fortunately, crashing into spiky barriers with the boat won’t restore your health, ensuring a risk-free journey.

It’s important to mention that throughout your journey, you’ll encounter numerous optional tasks and challenges that reward you with coins, experience points, and fresh equipment.

Defeat Big Crocolisk – Coridden

To overcome Big Crocolisk, similar to many bosses in Coridden, it’s best to employ a ranged attack strategy. This is particularly crucial with Big Crocolisk because it can inflict melee damage from a good distance, making getting too close to it rather hazardous.

1. You can choose to employ a bow or rely on your creature form’s distant attack. This method may require more time to defeat the boss, but it is significantly safer.

2. In other words, you have the option of using a bow or leveraging your beastly form’s long-range attack. Opting for this approach might mean a longer battle with the boss, but it offers increased safety.

Head To Boltpicker’s Camp – Coridden

Transform into a Crocolisk and make your exit through the very same cave entrance you used earlier. Once outside, swim or navigate along the left bank of the river using your Crocolisk form. Follow the river northward until you reach Varun Cliffs. Upon arriving at Varun Cliffs, follow the indicated path on your map to eventually come across Boltpicker Camp.

As a devoted admirer, remember that gaining access to the camp necessitates a beast with the power to smash through softer barriers. Fortunately, the mighty Crowned Ramox possesses this ability. Therefore, arm yourself with this formidable creature and charge towards the wooden gate, ready to bring it crumbling down!

Within the encampment, you may proceed with your narrative mission, however, be cautious as the archers within might pose a significant threat. Therefore, it’s wise to eliminate them before venturing further.
