This article contains spoilers from Naruto.
Summary
- Not all individuals with Tailed Beast chakra are Jinchuriki, like the Gold and Silver brothers who gained powers after being swallowed by Kurama.
- Blue B, a powerful individual once the Jinchuriki of Gyuki, showcased Tailed Beast power in the Fourth Ninja War without being a Jinchuriki.
- The Shinobi Alliance also accessed Tailed Beast chakra through Naruto Uzumaki’s sharing, granting them significant boosts in strength and recovery.
In the universe of Naruto, Jinchuriki are unique entities who house Tailed Beasts within them. These individuals were created by villages as a means to control and utilize the beast’s power more effectively. Essentially, a Jinchuriki served as both a tool for offense against other villages and a defensive measure, acting as a deterrent. Given their immense strength, a village could rely on a Jinchuriki as a formidable weapon.
The raw power of a Tailed Beast’s chakra is immense and seemingly boundless. People who harbor these beasts within them are undeniably powerful. Interestingly, one doesn’t have to be a Jinchuriki to wield the power of a Tailed Beast. In fact, there are numerous characters in the world of Naruto who have managed to harness the strength of a Tailed Beast without ever becoming a Jinchuriki.
5. Kinkaku

- Tailed Beast: Kurama
Among the Gold and Silver Brothers, Kinkaku was one of those who were first seen during the Fourth Great Ninja War. Kinkaku, a distant relative of the Sage of Six Paths, is known for having survived after consuming Kurama from within. Despite being completely swallowed by the beast, Kurama later expelled him, indicating his survival. This extraordinary event granted Kinkaku powers associated with the Tailed Beast itself. Although Kinkaku and his brother do not possess Kurama’s full power, they can create chakra cloaks and even advanced versions like the Four Tails form of the cloak – a remarkable ability for anyone to achieve.
4. Ginkaku

- Tailed Beast: Kurama
In a similar vein to Kinkaku, Ginkaku also harnessed Kurama’s power. They were both consumed by Kurama simultaneously, and later spit out when they caused internal disturbances. The Tailed Beast granted these beings immense powers, and during the Fourth Great Ninja War, fans caught a glimpse of these abilities. Regrettably, the full extent of their capabilities remained largely unexplored.
3. Blue B

- Tailed Beast: Gyuki
In simpler terms, during the Fourth Great Ninja War, an individual known as Blue B (originally) housed the Eight-Tails beast, Gyuki, before Killer B did. However, Blue B met his end at some point. Later, he was resurrected for the Fourth Great Ninja War. Unlike a typical Jinchuriki, who permanently hosts a Tailed Beast, Blue B was able to wield its power during that war without being its permanent host.
Indeed, in his previous existence, he held the role of a Jinchuriki, yet as we clashed during our confrontation, there was no Gyuki within him – an unusual circumstance that lent an intriguing edge to our skirmish. It must be said, Blue B wasn’t the ideal Jinchuriki, and this deficiency was evident in almost every aspect when compared to Killer Bee.
2. Shinobi Alliance
- Tailed Beast: Kurama
In an extraordinary turn of events, every member of the Shinobi alliance harnessed the might of the Tailed Beasts without personally holding the Jinchuriki title. This remarkable feat transpired due to Naruto Uzumaki’s selfless act of sharing his chakra across the battlefield. As a result, each ally was bestowed with a Tailed Beast Cloak level one, significantly amplifying their strength and recovery capabilities.
In the Ninja War, Naruto performed extraordinary deeds that undoubtedly saved their lives. Notable shinobi, such as Sakura and even members of Team 10, were empowered by Tailed Beast chakra. A fragment of Kurama played a crucial role in everyone’s survival.
1. Sasuke Uchiha
- Tailed Beast: All Nine
It came as a surprise, but Sasuke Uchiha was able to tap into the power of Tailed Beast chakra. This occurred following an instance where Sasuke employed the Sealing Technique known as Chibaku Tensei on all nine Tailed Beasts. By combining them in this way and forming a humanoid Susanoo, he absorbed their collective energy within his own body.
Sasuke significantly boosted his power by mastering Tailed Beast abilities, which left Naruto struggling in their fights. In fact, his prowess was deemed reminiscent of Hagoromo Otsutsuki himself by Kurama. However, it’s important to note that while Sasuke could harness Tailed Beast chakra, he wasn’t a true Jinchuriki and had limitations in this aspect. In the end, Naruto Uzumaki managed to overpower him, leading to Sasuke’s defeat. Nevertheless, there have been instances where Sasuke has absorbed Tailed Beast chakra, particularly when he partners with Naruto to form the Susanoo-clad Kurama.
