In the realm of Avowed, you’ll encounter numerous Non-Player Characters (NPCs) who are in need of your help to navigate their lives, frequently leading to side missions. As you traverse the arid expanse of Shatterscarp, you may stumble upon a wounded Aedyran soldier close to Tago Tower. He’ll share his predicament, as the Tower has been fortified with traps by an unidentified enemy, making it inaccessible for the Aedyran army to use it as their base. This event initiates the Don’t Look Down quest, where you must track down the culprit and disarm the traps within the tower.

How to Start the Don’t Look Down Quest in Avowed

To initiate the Don’t Look Down quest in Avowed, gamers should first make their way to Tago’s Tower, which is situated in the Shatterscape region, specifically south of Ruined Village within the Shark’s Teeth area. Upon arrival at the tower, a wounded Aedyran soldier can be found near the entrance who can be revitalized using a potion or your divine powers. In return, he will impart vital information about the traps within and task players with exploring the tower to apprehend the perpetrators behind the trouble.

Initially, you should climb up the Tower to get to those who placed the traps at the summit. There are several entrances into the tower for your convenience, so select the one that fits your style.

Climbing Tago’s Tower in Shark’s Teeth

To your left as you enter, you’ll notice some damaged concrete pillars leading to the side of the tower. Ascend, and beware of the series of traps you’ll encounter. Circumvent the tower’s side until you come across a wooden platform that will assist you in jumping or climbing into one of the openings.

Once you step into Tago’s Tower, stick to the main route to ascend the tower. Be cautious as you go since the path is adorned with various traps. Don’t forget to grab any treasures or items scattered around, as there are plenty in this place.
