Inside, enemies lurk, so players should ensure Yasuke is well-equipped before attempting to unlock the kofun’s legendary treasure chest.

How to Enter Takagi Kofun in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

In the video game ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’, the Takagi Kofun is situated within the castle grounds of Takagi, nestled within the charred fields of Kanki in the Harima region. To access this area, it’s advisable to switch to the character Yasuke first. Once you’ve done so, charge through a few castle doors and defeat the enemies gathered around the entrance to the kofun. While it is possible to eliminate all the enemies within the castle, entry into the Takagi Kofun itself is not mandatory for progression in the game.

After eliminating all foes surrounding the entrances of the Takagi Kofun, locate a nearby explosive jar and gently place it within the entryway. Subsequently, employ Yasuke’s bow to ignite the jar, causing an explosion that should open up access to the Takagi Kofun.

Takagi Kofun Solution

In the game “AC Shadows”, Yasuke will encounter enemies and need to strategically explode some cave walls within the Takagi Kofun. Despite its brevity, this kofun can become complicated as players delve deeper into it. Here is a guide on how to successfully complete the Takagi Kofun and obtain the legendary treasure at its core.

  1. After descending the kofun stairs, players will need to take out a few enemies in a large room.
  2. Look to the right, and there will be a pathway next to an enemy flag covered with bamboo. Head through that pathway and climb up the platform on the right.
  3. Head through the crawlspace and defeat an archer waiting on the other side. Now, keep following the cavern until you stumble upon another group of enemies.
  4. After eliminating the enemies, grab an explosive jar from the room on the left and place it before the weak wall towards the right of the bloodied slop.
  5. Once the wall is blown, head through another crawlspace until you arrive in a room with a large crate.
  6. Head further down into this room and move a crate blocking an entrance to a hidden room. Before going into the hidden room, drag the crate into the main chamber and position it in a way that will make platforms for Yasuke to use to reach the upper section of the area.
  7. Now, grab an explosive jar from the hidden room, use the platforms to get near the upper section, and throw the jar over it.
  8. After the explosion, the cave wall will crumble, allowing Yasuke to enter another crawlspace to reach the next area.
  9. Now, keep following the cave until you stumble upon the last set of enemies. Defeat them and use the explosive jar to destroy the cave wall on the left to reach the legendary chest in Takagi Kofun.

Takagi Kofun Rewards

Unlocking the revered chest within Takagi Kofun bestows players with Death’s Blossom, an exceptional teppo tailored for Yasuke. Additionally, players receive a special bonus enabling swift reloading on a teppo, a feature that can be inscribed at a later time onto any other legendary teppo belonging to Yasuke.

Once they have claimed their prizes, players can glide down the hillside for an exit from the Takagi Kofun within ‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’.
