In the world, titled “SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada“, harsh acid rains have transformed the landscape into a dangerous and unpredictable place teeming with unique horrors and hidden treasures. Navigating this hostile environment filled with mutant Enders isn’t an easy task, and it demands careful management of resources and items. As you battle the relentless elements, don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled for lucrative opportunities like AO Crystal deposits, which could potentially bring great rewards.

In the game, AO Crystals are highly prized resources. They are incredibly useful when it comes to crafting or acquiring costly weapons, parts for your cradle, and upgrades for your base. Each crystal has its own purity level, which determines a higher reward based on percentage. However, there are three levels of crystals in total that you can accumulate.

In this setup, Crystals of lower purity are denoted by a shade of gray, whereas those classified as normal or good (AO) will appear green. The purest crystals, though, are indicated in blue. However, it’s important to note that these top-tier crystals are usually only found in specific deposits.

Gray indicates low purity, Green signifies normal/good purity, and Blue represents the highest level of purity (but these are typically exclusive to certain locations).

It’s beneficial to note that crystal deposits become purer and more valuable with rainfall. Harvesting AO Crystals during rain, particularly heavy showers, yields the highest rewards, despite being harmful to player weather resistance. Moreover, enhancing your AO Excavator can help access more valuable deposits, as the standard one might not be powerful enough to penetrate them all.

Where To Find High Purity Crystals In The Northern Zone

In simpler terms, the Northern Zone serves as the initial play area and is often seen as less challenging compared to its counterpart. Being larger in size, it boasts a greater number of crystal deposits, some even containing High-Purity Crystals. While there’s no certainty that High-Purity Crystals will appear in any specific deposit, certain ones are more dependable, especially when mined during a storm.

As a fan, I’ve uncovered some exciting discoveries in my travels! The City Ruins themselves harbor potential high-grade deposits. Interestingly, another deposit of similar quality lies just south of Lazulum Lake. The region between the City Ruins and the Water Intake Facility is not barren; it hides two more deposits. And here’s a fun fact: The crystals fringing both the Water Intake Facility and the Agriculture Plant occasionally yield high-grade AO Crystals!

Where To Find High Purity Crystals In The Southern Zone

In the Southern Region, which is riskier yet boasts more valuable reserves, these resources can be a bit elusive. Specifically, there’s only one deposit found in the Checkpoint region and the central Marshlands. Another deposit is situated just south of the Decontamination facility.

The two areas most likely to yield High-Purity crystals are situated near the sulfuric ponds and volcanic gorges, which border the Power Plant and Arsenal sectors. Although these deposits are usually accessible, they’re often protected by tougher Enders, Bandit Drifters, or other players. It’s possible to find High-Purity crystals from other deposits as well, but whether you can do so depends on how much rainfall they’ve absorbed and whether they’ve been previously mined by others.
