As an avid Overwatch 2 fan, I can’t help but notice a pattern among the five Mythic weapon skins we’ve seen so far. Three of these – Ana, Ashe, and Widowmaker – happen to be snipers. Interestingly enough, these three characters have also been graced with Mythic hero skins throughout the game’s 15 seasons since its launch. Given the high level of skill required to master these heroes, it seems fitting that they receive Mythic weapon skins. While I appreciate this, some fans, including myself, are eagerly awaiting future seasons to diversify and bring Mythic weapon skins to other types of heroes.
