What Are Custom Deliveries in FFXIV?
Custom Deliveries are unique tasks related to crafting and gathering, offered by specific characters in each expansion. - Dawn of a New Deal (Level 90) – Rhodina in Solution Nine (X:9.2, Y:13.4)
Every seven days, this Non-Player Character (NPC) client will request diverse items based on their job requirements. The better assortment of collectibles you deliver, the higher your standing with them will grow via a Satisfaction Meter. Once the meter hits a particular level, you’ll earn increased trust from the client and unlock additional chances to obtain unique items for them.
When you max out their Satisfaction Meter, you’ll typically be given a significant reward for all the work you’ve done, such as a mount or a complete outfit set. Additionally, they usually allow you to customize their appearance with an outfit of your choice for future tasks.

With the recent update of version 7.2 from Dawntrail, you now have access to 11 distinct Custom Delivery clients available throughout all expansions starting from Heavensward up to Dawntrail. Each client comes with unique prerequisites for joining their storylines, so ensure your character is appropriately leveled and geared before attempting to interact with them. You might also need to progress far enough in the main scenario questline of the respective expansion for them to become available.
Keep in mind that while Allied Society questlines (often referred to as “Beast Tribes”) are designed to be accessible by players of any job type within the game, Custom Deliveries are specifically tailored for both crafters and gatherers only.
