In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, both Yasuke and Naoe possess six distinct ability progression paths, or skill trees. For Yasuke, four of these skill trees correspond to his various weapons, while one is dedicated solely to his unique samurai characteristics. This specialized skill tree is referred to as the Samurai path, and a majority of its unlockable abilities are passive in nature.
In order to help Yasuke reach his full potential as a samurai within “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, it would be advantageous to unlock numerous nodes in the Samurai skill tree. However, remember that balance is key and you should also choose abilities from the other five skill trees: Bow, Kanabo, Long Katana, Naginata, and Teppo. For now, let’s concentrate on honing Yasuke’s skills as a samurai.
7. Battle Cry
Stagger Enemies Around You
Skyrim”. Any enemies within his range become vulnerable to attacks, unable to counterattack until the effect wears off.
Enhancements can boost his attack power and restore health for Yasuke post-attack. This tactic is particularly effective, especially when engaged in combat with numerous adversaries, such as during a castle assault in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
6. Brutal Assassination
Yasuke Can Assassinate Enemies

In contrast to Naoe, the colossal samurai Yasuke in “Assassin’s Creed Shadows” doesn’t have the ability to silently sneak up and eliminate adversaries from the shadows as one might expect. However, if players manage to unlock the Brutal Assassination skill, they can execute enemies. Although this won’t turn Yasuke into a stealthy character, it does allow for takedowns to be performed.
If players activate the Guaranteed Assassination feature within their settings, they can expect Brutal Assassination to instantly eliminate Yasuke’s adversaries without detection. However, this setting might make the game overly simple for certain players, thus presenting a challenge in deciding whether or not to employ it.
5. Bull Rush
Sprint Through Doors And Enemies

In the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Yasuke gains an ability called Bull Rush, reminiscent of The Hulk’s power to break through doors. He accomplishes this by running at high speed, building momentum that allows him not only to smash through doors but also overpower human adversaries. When enemies are knocked down, they can be aided with appropriate skills and weapons in your arsenal.
Enhancing this unique skill set will amplify Yasuke’s force, enabling him to ram bigger foes into smaller ones. In essence, Yasuke functions as a lone warrior with this talent, and remarkably, he doesn’t rely on weapons for it. However, in the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, there seems to be a gap – hand-to-hand melee combat using fists. Given that other large enemies can engage in close combat after discarding their weapons, it would be logical for him to do so as well.
4. Link Attack
Switch Weapons To Get A Bonus Combo

In Assassin’s Creed Shadows, I, as Yasuke the samurai, can craft a powerful combo by swapping my melee weapons on the fly. Out of my arsenal of five, there are two ranged and three melee weapons. A unique attack is triggered when I switch between the Long Katana, Naginata, or Kanabo.
It’s not a super-cool ability, but it makes things go faster because sometimes the animations are slow, especially for Yasuke. It’s even slow when players switch weapons with Naoe.)
3. Regeneration
Heal HP Upon Killing Enemies

In the game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows”, Yasuke’s character will typically have a higher health level compared to Naoe. This is because health is influenced by the leveling up process and the type of armor each character wears, and Yasuke’s armor class generally has more power and strength.
Yasuke proves challenging to defeat due to his resilience, making him perfect for play in high-security zones. Having a talent like Regeneration as a backup isn’t something to overlook; it allows players to recover some health after slaying an opponent. While the initial restoration may not be substantial, investing more points into this skill can significantly increase the amount of HP restored over time.
2. Vigor 1
Increase Adrenaline Reserves

In the game “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” players need to accumulate Adrenaline to activate special abilities. The Adrenaline gauge is positioned next to their character’s health bar and resembles a diamond shape. By attacking enemies, players can replenish their Adrenaline. The larger the chunks of Adrenaline, the more abilities they can utilize before experiencing cooldown periods.
Vigor 1 offers Yasuke additional crystals of Adrenaline, and it has three levels. It’s a fundamental improvement for an RPG setting, crucial for success in battle.
1. War Kick
Kick Enemies Across The Map

In the game Assassin’s Creed Shadows, War Kick is an enjoyable yet relatively low-damage active skill. This move propels an enemy a good distance away from both Yasuke and Naoe. Interestingly, Naoe also has a kick ability, but Yasuke’s kicks are more powerful due to his larger size.
As I traverse this route, enhancing my abilities could significantly boost my impact potential, allowing me to tackle more formidable foes. With a touch of strategy, I might find the perfect moment to launch an opponent over a precipice β an opportunity that, while not always common, is surely thrilling when it arises!
