Summary

  • Killingham is a Holy Knight who fights on par with Admirals and has mastered his Devil Fruit power.
  • Shepherd Sommers is a sadistic lunatic with the Iba Iba no Mi, gleefully inflicting pain.
  • Gunko, one of the strongest Holy Knights, can create arrows and aerial vehicles with the Aro Aro no Mi.

So far, the Elbaf arc has been absolutely fantastic, meeting and often exceeding expectations. For years, fans have eagerly anticipated a glimpse into this nation, and now that we’re there in the story, it’s hard not to be awestruck by the brilliance of Eiichiro Oda.

As a die-hard One Piece fan, I must say that each arc never ceases to amaze me with its array of fresh personalities. The Elbaf arc has been no exception, introducing a multitude of characters that have left an indelible mark on the series. Some of these newcomers have already made a splash, while others are patiently waiting for their time to shine. Amidst this character influx, it’s challenging to pinpoint who stands out the most. With that in mind, let me share my top picks among the characters introduced during the Elbaf arc.

7. Killingham

Came To Elbaf To Carry Out The Mission

  • Possesses the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin

Hailing from the esteemed Rimoshifu clan, allies of the World Government, stands Killingham – a remarkable figure among the Holy Knights. This exceptional warrior demonstrates an extraordinary strength that allows him to engage in combat on par with one of the Navy’s Admirals. Moreover, Killingham has attained full control over his Devil Fruit, exhibiting no negative side effects while maintaining his animal form.

Similar to other Holy Knights, Killingham portrays an arrogant demeanor, considering himself above common people. This is reflected in his habit of wearing a helmet, much like the Celestial Dragons. At present, his true face remains hidden, though it’s expected to be unveiled soon.

6. Shepherd Sommers

A Lunatic Who Likes Inflicting Pain

  • Ate the Iba Iba no Mi

Shepherd Sommers, a man known for his cruel and heartless nature, shows little regard for common people. He considers them as insignificant and would not hesitate to eliminate them if they pose any threat to him. Accompanied by the power of the Iba Iba no Mi, he executes tasks assigned by the World Government.

1. He crafts prickly ivies as tools for dominance over his adversaries. There’s a pattern in which he idealizes hardship and torment. Consequently, when he inflicts hurt upon others, he takes pleasure in the experience.

2. He manufactures spiny vines to enslave his foes, and there’s an inclination for him to glorify distress and agony. As a result, whenever he causes pain, he revels in the sensation.

3. He designs prickly plants to assert dominance over opponents, and often, he romanticizes pain and torment. Therefore, when he injures others, he derives satisfaction from it.

4. He fashions sharp vines as weapons for subjugating enemies, and there’s a penchant for him to glorify suffering. Thus, whenever he causes harm, he finds enjoyment in the act.

5. He cultivates thorny vines for controlling his adversaries, and he often romanticizes pain and misery. In turn, when he hurts others, he takes delight in it.

5. Gunko

One Of The Strongest Holy Knights

  • Has the Aro Aro no Mi

Among the characters in One Piece, Gunko stands out with an exceptionally stylish design. Despite being part of the Holy Knights, her outfit deviates from the typical attire, appearing more aligned with the Revolutionary Army. Notably, her goggles resemble those worn by Sabo and Lindbergh.

Gunko’s Devil Fruit ability is special in its own way. With it, she can shape and design arrows as needed. These arrows serve multiple purposes – Gunko can deflect incoming attacks by sending them back towards the enemy, or immobilize an opponent by pinning them down with the arrows, preventing their escape. Additionally, Gunko has demonstrated the ability to construct a temporary flying vehicle using her Devil Fruit, allowing her to reach greater heights.

4. Figarland Shamrock

Elder Twin Brother Of Shanks

  • Has a sword that ate a Devil Fruit

In a different phrasing, Captain Figarland Shamrock journeyed with Gunko to Elbaf with the intention of enlisting Loki. However, their plan failed, resulting in grave injuries inflicted upon the colossal inhabitants.

Notably, Shamrock is the older twin brother of Shanks, born to Figarland Garling. Known for his ruthless and vengeful nature, it’s plausible that this stems from his upbringing. Much like his family members, Shamrock possesses immense power, capable of rivaling a Yonko. Although he hasn’t yet unleashed his full potential in battle, that may soon change.

3. Collun

Son Of A Legendary Pirate

  • He looks up to Shanks

Collun, a spirited youth, is the son of Scopper Gaban. Unlike most children, Collun isn’t drawn to scholarly pursuits. Instead, he dreams of piracy, admiring Shanks as his role model. In some ways, Collun’s thirst for adventure mirrors Luffy’s. These two characters are also brimming with enthusiasm and can’t resist a chance to have fun.

Collun joined forces with a few Straw Hat members as a makeshift pirate team for the moment. Despite being young and lacking strength now, if he continues chasing his ambition to be a pirate, he’ll undoubtedly grow into a formidable figure in the future.

2. Loki

The Son Of The Late King Harald

  • Possesses an unnamed Devil Fruit

Loki, who used to be the son of the deceased King Harald, wasn’t welcomed as a prince but instead was despised by Giants due to him killing his own father, which is considered patricide. This act led to his angering the inhabitants of Elbaf, who believed he took his father’s life for a Devil Fruit. As a result, Loki was shunned and eventually taken aback by Shanks when he discovered this terrible deed.

Amongst the Giants, Loki stands out uniquely in his physical form. He’s the sole individual in Elbaf armed with a legendary weapon. Moreover, the World Government has marked him with a unique bounty, and the Holy Knights have shown interest in enlisting him. These factors make Loki an intriguing fresh character. It’s worth noting that there are aspects of Loki yet to be disclosed; however, they will be unveiled as time progresses.

1. Scopper Gaban

Former Member Of The Roger Pirates

  • Strength rivaled Roger and Rayleigh

Scopper Gaban is a renowned pirate who once set sail with the Roger Pirates. Known as the ‘deputy’ or ‘second-in-command’ of the Pirate King, his power was on par with Silvers Rayleigh. Until now, Gaban has been spoken of numerous times before reaching Elbaf, but he hasn’t emerged in the present timeline until this moment.

Scopper Gaban stands out as a remarkable fighter capable of using all three forms of Haki, and his physical prowess matches that of characters significantly younger than him. Beyond his impressive strength, Gaban is a captivating character. He’s generally laid-back, yet he can switch his mood swiftly.
