Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware, recently shared news about their upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game, The Duskbloods. After years of rumors, the game is generating a lot of excitement. Okay, so I was checking out Kadokawa’s latest report, and it’s still looking good for The Duskbloods this year! They confirmed FromSoftware is working on a bunch of stuff, including Elden Ring Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods, both planned to drop in 2026 for the new Nintendo Switch 2. The big news is it’s only coming to the Switch 2, and FromSoftware is teaming up with Nintendo to publish it. I’m hyped!

Kadokawa recently confirmed that Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, the version of the award-winning game for the new Nintendo Switch 2, is still being developed. Originally planned for release last year, the game was pushed back to 2026 to allow the developers to enhance its performance. According to Kadokawa’s latest financial report, the project is progressing well and is now expected to launch later this year.

Both games were initially revealed during the Switch 2 Direct presentation, but haven’t been shown since and were absent from the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Adding these two titles from FromSoftware makes the Switch 2’s lineup of games developed with partners even stronger.
