In Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, you need to examine survivors and determine who is infected based on their symptoms. The game provides several tools for this, and the UV Detection Tower is the final, crucial one – it reveals symptoms you can’t see with the naked eye. This guide will show you how to effectively use the UV Detection Tower in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check.
How to Use the UV Detection Tower in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check
The UV Detection Tower becomes available on Day 19 in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check. It helps you find hidden signs of infection. When activated, the tower shines UV light, which makes infections visible on both survivors and the items in their backpacks.
To turn on the UV Detection Tower, press the small button on the Contraband inspection desk. This will briefly activate the UV light, allowing you to check either the baggage or the survivor for clues. After use, the tower needs a few seconds to recharge before you can use it again.
Both survivors and their belongings may show signs of infection. If you notice any spots on a bag, be sure to label it as “UV Contraband” in the Symptoms section. This is a confirmed sign that a survivor is infected, and they should be sent to the Liquidation block immediately.
Okay, so when I’m hunting, I can usually tell if someone’s been infected in a couple of ways. Either I’ll see this greenish mist hanging around them, or if I scan them with the Scanner, I’ll notice glowing marks that wouldn’t be there otherwise. It’s a pretty clear sign!
If you only see vapor around a survivor and no visible marks, they’re considered safe. But if the UV Detection Tower in Quarantine Zone: The Last Check reveals any marks on a survivor, you must immediately record them in the Symptoms tab, which will result in their elimination.
