Jump Links

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is full of mysteries waiting to be uncovered, and you play as Fabien, the one who will solve them. You’ll investigate crimes, find hidden collectibles, and crack puzzles along the way.

Ysabella invited you to the Atrium, and once you arrive, you’ll discover a puzzle blocking your way. Don’t worry, though – the solution is nearby if you know where to find it.

Here is how to solve the Atrium puzzle in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

How To Solve the Atrium Puzzle

When you get to Ysabella’s office in the Atrium, you’ll see four paintings that look like LCD screens on the wall. If you use your vampire senses, you’ll discover hidden symbols on them: the mark on your hand, a rose, a drop of water, and an ankh.

To open the door and move forward, touch the paintings in the right sequence – each touch will make a symbol vanish. If you touch them in the correct order, the door at the back of the room will unlock, letting you continue your journey and eventually find Ysabella.

Collecting The Puzzle Hint

If you’re stuck on a big puzzle, you can get a clue by talking to Verona, one of Ysabella’s Blood Dolls.

You might recall this Blood Doll from Fabien’s part of the campaign. You can find her in the hallway to your left.

As you enter the hallway, you’ll find several booths. In one, you’ll see Verona, barely conscious. She’ll be very disoriented, but if you take the time to talk to her, you’ll get useful information.

Verona will talk about Ysabella’s art and enthusiastically claim she’s the most talented artist of all time.

This should remind Fabien of something, helping both of you figure out that the answer to the puzzle lies hidden within Ysabella’s paintings around the location. You won’t be able to use any special clan powers to discover this.

Atrium Puzzle Solution

After speaking with the dying Verona, you’ve learned you need to examine the paintings to solve the puzzle in the Atrium. Use your vampire abilities on each painting to reveal hidden markings – there are three paintings to investigate in total.

Notice the symbols in each painting: one features two ankhs, another has three roses, and the last shows four water droplets. These numbers are the key to solving the puzzle.

You’ll receive the first clue from Fabien as soon as you arrive; he’ll point out the symbol on the back of your hand.

Interact with the paintings in the following order:

  • Symbol on your hand
  • Ankh
  • Rose
  • Water Droplet

If you look at the paintings in the correct sequence, a hidden door at the back of the room will open, letting you continue to your meeting with Ysabella.

Pay close attention and double-check your vampire powers – things are about to get challenging!
