Crimson Desert features a variety of interesting armor and weapons, but the Vaporwalker Boots stand out as particularly enjoyable. These boots allow Kliff to glide across water surfaces, as long as he begins the sliding movement while in shallow water. Though they don’t offer significant defensive benefits or stat boosts, they’re a fun item that lets players ‘surf’ on water and adds a stylish flair to gameplay.
Vaporwalker Boots Location in Crimson Desert
To find the Vaporwalker Boots in Crimson Desert, head to the Ancient’s Heart Cave. This cave is located in the Ancient Rift area, which is north of Hernand City, past Sage’s Peak.
If you’ve already unlocked it, you can quickly travel to the Abyss Nexus using the fast travel point in the Ancient Rift.
You’ll come to a large gap in the ground with strange, geometric structures and waterfalls. Stay to the left and follow the edge of the Ancient Rift until you see two waterfalls next to each other. Then, glide down to the one on the left.
Okay, so once you land near the waterfall, look for a little stack of stones – that marks the way to the Ancient’s Heart Cave! To get inside, you just need to walk up to the waterfall and do that Stab move – that’s pressing RB and Y together on Xbox, or R1 and Triangle on PlayStation. If you do it right, Kliff will be able to walk right through the water and into the cave hidden behind the waterfall!
When you first enter the Ancient’s Heart waterfall cave, use strong attacks or a Force Palm to break the boulder at the entrance. Inside, you’ll discover a treasure chest containing a Refined Palmar Pill and the Vaporwalker Boots, both found in the Crimson Desert.
The Vaporwalker boots in Crimson Desert can’t be upgraded with Abyss Gear or improved with refinements. Instead, they let you slide across water surfaces – just run to a lake or stream and press the left stick or crouch button. While this doesn’t offer any gameplay advantages, it’s a fun feature to enjoy occasionally.
