Vegas Falcons Support COD’s Pro Scene With a $10,000 Respawn 8’s Tournament

The competitive scene for Call of Duty is facing some challenges at the moment. Issues such as extended breaks between tournaments and Black Ops 6 being marred by cheating have made the Call of Duty League less attractive for many viewers and professional players alike. This is particularly problematic because a significant number of these professionals depend on the competitive Call of Duty ecosystem to earn their livelihoods.

In an effort to bolster the struggling esports community, the Vegas Falcons, who joined the Call of Duty League this season, have organized a Respawn 8s tournament offering a substantial monetary reward to ensure the generation of engaging content.

Falcons on Top

Even though they’re currently at the bottom of the Call of Duty League (CDL) rankings, the Vegas Falcons are doing their utmost to contribute positively to the scene. A significant challenge within the Call of Duty esports environment is the scarcity of content. Beyond the CDL, there aren’t many options for spectators, which necessitates the scene’s brands and content creators to arrange tournaments and events.

And the less said about Warzone, the better. It’s in a shocker of a spot right now.

Today, the Vegas Falcons unveiled details for their Respawn 8s tournament, which will take place from January 17th to the 26th. In a social media post, the organization shared this information.

Introducing the Vegas Falcons Ladder

As a dedicated gamer, I’m excited about this tournament setup that aims to gather top talents from all around. Over a span of 10 thrilling days, we’ll be battling it out for an impressive prize pool of $10,000!

Who will be crowned king ahead of Major I?

The first major event of the CDL season, known as Major I, is generating a lot of excitement. It’s scheduled to happen in Madrid from January 30 to February 2, making it the first EU Major ever in Call of Duty League history. Following this, we head back to the U.S. for Major II, which will take place in Texas, and then Major III, slated for Florida in April.
