To all our fellow trainers, the Venusaur Drop Event is now active in the Pokémon TCG Pocket! We’ve been anticipating this, and we’re excited about the content drop that has arrived. It includes unveiling Promo-A cards yet to be released, more opportunities to open packs, and a whole host of additional features—and this comprehensive guide will fill you in on all the details.
The Lapras EX Drop Event held in early November for Pokémon Trading Card Game (PTCGO) proved to be a massive hit! Fresh battles were introduced, and players could snag special Promo Cards, including a highly useful Lapras card. As we approach the festive season, PTCGO has bestowed an early Christmas gift with the Venusaur Drop Event. We had a sneak peek at its arrival due to advance expansion leaks.
It has lots in common with the Lapras Drop Event but offers entirely new rewards and opportunities in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
What is the Venusaur Drop Event in Pokémon TCG Pocket?
The Venusaur Drop Event is a special, time-limited offer in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, introducing new Solo Battles, rewards, and Promo-A cards that have not been accessible before, starting from November 29th and running until December 12th.
During the two-week duration of the Venusaur Drop Event, there’s ample opportunity for you to participate. There’s no need to fear missing out (FOMO), but it’s important to engage in the battles and strive to claim all potential rewards. Unfortunately, the Mewtwo 10 Promo Card isn’t available yet, but you can accumulate several Promo A cards for your collection instead.
Keep an eye on your Event Stamina, because if you run out, you have to wait to try another battle!
All Venusaur Drop Event Rewards in Pokémon TCG Pocket
Successfully finishing the Venusaur Drop Event Solo Battles yields various rewards such as Promotional Packs, Shinedust, Shop Tickets, Event Hourglasses, Pack Hourglasses, and Wonder Hourglasses.
In the Venusaur Drop Event, each challenge tier offers “Initial Rewards” (similar to first-time rewards), “Random Rewards” (similar to chance rewards), and prizes for completing Battle Tasks successfully. The Random Rewards remain consistent across all levels of difficulty.
