Verdansk’s Warzone return could be delayed again according to leak

As a dedicated Warzone player with countless hours logged in Verdansk, I must admit that the news of potential further delays to its return has left me feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas who just got told Santa’s reindeer are on strike. The anticipation and excitement surrounding this iconic map’s comeback have been building up for what feels like an eternity, and it seems we might need to exercise some more patience.

Players of Warzone have been anxiously looking forward to the supposed return of Verdansk, yet recent reports hint at a possible delay in its return for a second time.

It’s widely understood that Verdansk will be back in Warzone, but as per ‘BobNetworkUK_’, it seems like our anticipated return to the original map might take a bit more time than initially thought.

According to the source, they allegedly stated in a post from August 15th that the upcoming release is tentatively planned for both Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 2, with an anticipated arrival around early 2025, following the pattern of past seasons.

Yet, it was mentioned that the anticipated comeback might get delayed even more, given the reports suggesting that Raven Software is running late with their project timelines.

In simple terms, the comeback of Verdansk is tentatively scheduled for Season 2 of BO6/Warzone, yet there’s a possibility it might get delayed longer due to delays in Raven Software’s project completion timelines.

There’s speculation that the classic OG map could return along with Black Ops 6 Season 1, tentatively set for release around December 2024, according to a report by Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming towards the end of 2023.

After this announcement, it became clear that Verdansk would not launch in the current year, according to BobNetworkUK and confirmed by our own information. It seems there might not be a fresh Battle Royale map to initiate the next phase of Warzone.

As a devoted fan, I’ve found myself in a bit of a predicament lately. So far, there’s been no explanation for the delay, but the latest news hints that the developers are grappling with the challenge of perfecting the map on schedule. On a positive note, it’s officially confirmed that Ranked Play is slated to arrive in Urzikstan sometime in 2024. This exciting development should not only alleviate the wait but also provide an engaging activity for fellow fans like myself to immerse ourselves in.

Just a heads up, although there are many rumors, it’s important to note that Activision hasn’t made an official announcement yet about the return of Verdansk – everything we’re hearing so far is based on leaks and unconfirmed reports.

Despite the fact that the anticipated comeback of Versansk is yet to be realized, there’s still a lot to look forward to in Warzone with Black Ops Cold War. This includes a variety of new weapons and a revamped movement system.
