In ARC Raiders, the “Straight Record” quest requires you to find and shut down an old EMP device that’s interfering with enemy communications. The challenge is finding the location – Victory Ridge – as it’s not shown on the game map. This guide will walk you through how to get to Victory Ridge and disable the EMP, completing the quest.
Victory Ridge & Old Emp Trap Locations in ARC Raiders
To begin the “Straight Record” quest in ARC Raiders, head to Victory Ridge. It’s found on the Dam Battlegrounds map, between the West Broken Bridge and Ruby Residence. Unlike other locations, Victory Ridge isn’t labeled on the map, so use the image above as a guide to find it.
Once you reach Victory Ridge, look for an electric pole with a yellow light by following the scattered debris. This is the Old EMP Trap, and you need to interact with it to turn it off.
All Power Switch Locations in Straight Record
Once you’ve used the Old EMP Trap during the Straight Record quest, a short puzzle will begin. You’ll need to flip three yellow power switches in the correct sequence to turn off the trap and finish the quest.
You can find the first Power Switch on a hill close to the EMP pole. Simply approach it and activate it to switch it off.
To find the second Power Switch, go down the hill towards the ruined house. Climb onto the generator outside the house to get to the second floor. The switch is located inside a room at the back of the building.
Okay, so I headed back to that EMP pole and then just followed the road south. It wasn’t hard – I quickly saw a pole with a cable down on the ground. I just kept following that cable, and sure enough, it led me right to the third and final Power Switch box. Easy peasy!
After shutting down all the Power Switches, disable the Old EMP Trap and finish the Straight Record quest in ARC Raiders. Then, safely return to Speranza to receive your reward from Celeste: 5 Medium Gun Parts and 3 Advanced Mechanical Components.
