Hernández explained this on Facebook, stating that the translation from Spanish was provided by The Direct.

Turns out I was the one who shared the on-set photo of Jason Momoa as Lobo – yes, that’s right! The DC Latin America team didn’t confirm its authenticity and ended up posting it themselves. The post was additionally circulated on Reddit, prompting differing opinions among fans upon viewing it. Some believed it was authentic due to Momoa’s recent announcement about completing filming for Supergirl. However, others expressed worry as they couldn’t discern whether the images were genuine or not. Some noticed details suggesting the shots might have been generated by AI, such as a seemingly floating Steadicam. Another theory proposed that the images resembled promotional photos from Fast X, but with AI enhancements. Last weekend, a video clip from the set of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow surfaced online. The brief footage showcases Milly Alcock and Momoa in their costumes, though the distance made it challenging to scrutinize the fine details of their outfits, including their makeup.

It’s no surprise that fans are eager to catch a glimpse of Jason Momoa as the iconic character Lobo in an official capacity. After all, this role seems tailor-made for him.
