A virtual streamer was prohibited from Twitch following the widespread popularity of a Battlefield 6 gameplay video she posted, which garnered over tens of millions of views.
As a passionate gamer (or yours truly), I shared my Battlefield 6 gameplay clips on X on August 8, under the Vtuber handle, RileyCS. Unfortunately, these clips sparked quite a stir amongst the gaming community, with some users leveling accusations of cheating against me. However, the debate around those clips has been intense, resulting in them racking up an impressive 47.8 million views at the time this text was penned.
It appears that the popular tweet led people to suspect her of cheating on Twitch, resulting in a ban due to reports against her.
You can watch the clip below to decide for yourself if you think she’s cheating:

The Battlefield 6 Cheating Allegations
From my gaming perspective, it’s hard not to suspect foul play when I watch Riley’s videos. Her unconventional playing style, where she seemingly jumps or ‘flicks’ onto enemies for content, certainly looks a lot like cheating at first sight.

In support of Riley, others claim she’s well-known in her community for producing this kind of content. Battlefield YouTuber Enders has even scrutinized the videos, making it an intriguing watch if you have spare time. On the other hand, critics say that aimbot can be quickly toggled on and off, using a foot pedal as an example.
For a while, there’s likely to be much discussion about whether Riely is cheating or not. This debate might continue until either Electronic Arts (EA) clarifies the situation by dismissing the accusations, or Riely participates in a local area network (LAN) event, where their gameplay can be closely scrutinized.
Despite the viral video, numerous other players have been inspired to record comparable videos and share them on X. As a result, it’s probable that the allegations of cheating within the community towards players, whether they are valid or not, will persist.
