As a long-time fan of the Mana series, I can hardly contain my excitement as Square Enix surprises us with a demo for Visions of Mana! With just a month left before its official release on August 29th, this demo offers an irresistible sneak peek into the beautiful and vibrant world of Val and Hinna’s journey.
Surprise demo for the upcoming RPG “Visions of Mana” by Square Enix is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X.
1. The demo for Visions of Mana has been released about a month early compared to its scheduled launch date on August 29th. As for the demo, the publisher invites you to: “Take a sneak peek into the story, battles, and exploration with this demo of Visions of Mana – now available.” They also mention that some aspects within the demo might vary from the final version of the game when it officially launches.

If you do play the demo, you can get three weapons for the final version, as follows:
- Gladius (small sword for Val)
- Falx (great sword for Val)
- Horn Lance (lance for Val)
1. In addition, there are extra weapons you can acquire prior to playing the complete game that will become available as classes get unlocked:
- The “Gladius” can be equipped once Val becomes playable in Chapter 1.
- The “Falx” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the wind class.
- The “Horn Lance” can be equipped once it becomes possible to change class to the moon class.
In order to obtain these items, it’s necessary to have previously saved data from the demo on your system. Please note that the demo version showcases a condensed version of the content, which means that any progress made during the demo won’t carry over when you switch to the full game.
In a fresh addition to the collection, “Visions of Mana” introduces the tale of the sacred sword and mana. Alongside his longtime companion Hinna, who has been bestowed with the title of Alm of Fire, the protagonist Val embarks on an adventure towards the Mana Tree.
