However, the survivors from this iconic show quickly learned how to navigate around these undead obstacles.

An alternate method Rick and his companions utilized to travel from point A to B without encountering walkers was by utilizing the numerous vehicles available in their post-apocalyptic surroundings. While these were beneficial for lengthy supply missions and transporting larger groups (generally) safely between camps, they had a significant drawback: gas, which was in short supply.
