Wargaming announces new title, Steel Hunters

As a seasoned gamer with decades of combat simulator and mech-centric gameplay under my belt, the announcement of Steel Hunters by Wargaming has left me positively thrilled! Having dabbled in everything from MechWarrior to Titanfall, I’ve seen the evolution of mechanical warfare in video games, but this new take on Battle Royale and Extraction shooters is a breath of fresh air.

As an enthusiastic fan, I’m thrilled to share that Wargaming has unveiled an exciting new addition to their portfolio – a free-to-play mech shooter titled Steel Hunters! The game provides an immersive experience of a power-packed mech fantasy, allowing you to command mighty mechanical titans known as Hunters, engaging in thrilling combat sequences with multiple goals to achieve. You’ll level up and gather equipment along the way. Each Hunter boasts a unique playstyle, skill sets, and development systems that offer diverse strategies and tactics for outsmarting adversaries en route to the climactic encounter at the extraction site.

Located in a future-oriented setting, Steel Hunters narrates the struggle of mankind after a devastating occurrence. To obtain a valuable alien mineral known as Starfall, hunter robots were developed. In their battle for supremacy, Corporations and Factions have since enhanced these hunters into formidable battle units, deploying them in the competition to claim the scarce Starfall resource scattered across the barren yet verdant remnants of an abandoned Earth.
