Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Drops for PS5 This December

As a seasoned gamer with years of battling through various virtual realms under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the impending arrival of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on my trusty PlayStation 5! After patiently waiting since its PC and Xbox Series X/S debuts in 2023, it’s finally time to join forces with fellow gamers and embark on an epic quest to save Tetrium City from the clutches of sinister foes.

On its old platform (previously known as Twitter), the official Warhammer account has shared the news that the game “Warhammer 40,000: Darktide” is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 on December 3, 2024.

From 2023 onwards, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was restricted to play on PC and Xbox Series X/S, but now it’s making its way to the PS5. The Standard Edition, priced at $39.99, grants access to the fundamental game. Additionally, an Imperial Edition is available for purchase at $59.99.

6-day early access to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide’s Imperial Edition on PS5 is a bonus for players, along with the Loyalist Pack. This pack includes four distinct class outfits, eight weapon skin designs, one headgear set, and an Ogryn body tattoo as tattoos; a Mortis Veteran Portrait Frame; a Caducades Backpack; and 2500 Aquilas (premium in-game currency).

The developers have confirmed that PlayStation Plus will be required to play the game.
