As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of experience under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of shooters, but Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has truly stood out this year. The upcoming additions to this game are making me even more excited than a Space Marine at the sight of an Ork WAAAGH!
The game development company, Saber Interactive, unveiled a fresh trailer showcasing some of the new material set for their acclaimed shooter title, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, which has garnered positive feedback from players and enthusiasts since its launch earlier in 2021.
A challenging new Lethal Hardcore mode is being introduced to Operations Mode, making it even tougher for Space Marines who currently find their mission of spreading the Emperor’s Light too effortless. Accompanying this new mode, an entirely fresh Operations mission called “Termination” will debut. In this PvE battle, players will confront the immense power of a Tyranid Bio-Titan.

All these upcoming features will be available “very soon” in a free update. Additionally, a Dark Angels cosmetic pack is on its way. This update will offer various cosmetic customizations to dress your Space Marine in the iconic attire of the First Legion. Further content such as the new Volkite pistol, additional Operations, and more cosmetic packs are slated for release throughout 2025. Highlights include the eagerly awaited Horde Mode, a challenging game mode where the objective is to endure as long as possible against overwhelming odds, a concept popularized by Gears of War.
