Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons Coming 2027, Gameplay Reveal Next Summer

During The Game Awards, Wizards of the Coast showed off a brand new trailer for their upcoming game, Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons. The exciting trailer featured hordes of monsters, magical battles, and familiar imagery from the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Players can expect to see actual gameplay footage sometime in Summer 2026.

At the end of the trailer, it was confirmed that the game is targeting a 2027 launch.

Warlock is An All-New Dungeons & Dragons Project

The first official trailer for Warlock: Dungeons & Dragons, a fast-paced new game set in the D&D world, was revealed by Wizards of the Coast at The Game Awards.

Warlock is a new open-world adventure game inspired by the Dungeons & Dragons class. Players take on the role of Kaatri, who wields supernatural powers gained from a powerful entity – a concept many D&D fans will recognize.

This game isn’t meant to be a direct recreation of a traditional tabletop game. It’s a standalone single-player adventure that’s forging its own path, rather than simply trying to imitate the success of Baldur’s Gate.

It’s all about combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving mechanics that unravel mostly in real time.
