Based on information from a LinkedIn profile, it appears that Warner Bros Games is currently developing an unrevealed intellectual property set to be released in the year 2025.
According to Timur222’s discovery on GamesRadar+, Brandon Maraia’s LinkedIn profile reveals his role as the Lead Game Designer at Warner Bros Games since 2023. In the ‘Experience’ section of his profile, Maraia mentions that he has been managing game design for an upcoming, unannounced intellectual property (IP) game by Warner Bros Games, which is set to launch in 2025.
As a fervent admirer, it’s challenging to predict which secretive projects Warner Bros Games might be brewing, given their recent studio closures. The shocking announcement in February revealed that Monolith Studios, creators of the cancelled Shadow of Mordor series and the abandoned Wonder Woman game, were unfortunately closing down. Alongside Monolith, Player First Games, who developed Multiversus before it was discontinued, and WB San Diego also ceased operations.
As a devoted fan, I’m quite disappointed to share that my eagerly awaited DLC for one of Warner Bros Games’ beloved franchises has been axed. Last month, we learned that the Definitive Edition of Hogwarts Legacy and its accompanying DLC were among the casualties in Warner Bros’ “ongoing restructuring” within their gaming division. There were also whispers about whether the content offered was substantial enough to warrant its price tag.
